Leading that list far and away is a pair of characteristics, chengshu/wenzhong (成熟稳重) that perhaps translate best as steady and mature. After that is you zeren (有 责任), which means in essence being a responsible person. So looks and age, while they will obviously play a role, don't loom as large here as you seem to think.

I am speaking for the genuine men that are sincerely looking on here. I do not think it's becuase older men want to find a younger woman. Trust me, younger women can sometimes not be the best thing for an older man mentally. I think the sincere men in general just want to find a good companion, regardless of her age and their age. They wish for someone to love and share their life with. Men a flexible with a woman's age if they are attracted. Younger is not better and looking at the photos of older women on CLM - the 40 & up women look amazingly beautiful for their age. So truly, I feel men just want a woman who is different, special and unique than what they are used to. Someone who will love them genuinely and treat them with respect and care without a whole lot of bullsh*t. Am I wrong?

Could you share with us why you are here first? I briefly browsed your profile. Your profile has little info. Are you here because you are curious? To to find a partner? Or both?

You asked: "so why you are here? because your age,thats why you want to find a young girl here?" When you say "your age", I am not sure what age you referred to: 25? or 65? Most marriage minded guys are looking for ladies "younger" than hemselves, but not "young" girls as you were referring to.

I am not ruling out the possibility of a small number of guys who are looking for young girls for games playing. While we are at it, there are even those who are here with ulterior motives. They are after things other than a family, such as your money.

I'm here because I live in Daqing (Heilongjiang, not Liaoning) and I'm actually the only waiguoren who lives in my district. I've been in China a year but only in this area for a month.

I'll just come out and say it, people in Daqing are 农民 (farmers). My friend has big eyes, so the locals ask if it's because there's big rice in her country! Another friend is black, and people actually ask his Chinese wife if he's black from eating too much chocolate as a kid!

Suffice it to say there is nobody here who speaks English and nobody who knows I speak Chinese... and they all think I'm Russian (I'm Canadian). I actually get quite a lot of attention from Chinese girls in my age range, but not until the ice is broken.

Ultimately, I'm here to find a cute girl that wants to see the world.
