Fake pictures

I believe clm is doing a good job. I've been looking for a legit dating site for a long time and I recon clm is genuine. There are things I suppose that are out of control of the site owner/manager. I have been contacted by a couple of ladies from the site. We have exchanged contact details, and to my biggest disappointment, the one that I was really interested in doesn't look anything like on the photos she posted on clm. She told me if she didn't modify her photos using photo shop, no one would have contacted her.

I don't think clm could stop people from lying about their identity, but I suppose they are doing their best to prevent it. I think you should put a warning to stop people doing this or include a camera app on the website and get everyone to take at least one instant picture.

As per my understanding, I think this is a personal issue and can't be completely controlled and avoided even if a related warning sentence has been added when one tries to register here. But a warm warning may be considered or added when the process is not too complicate.

We all want to be looking as good as possible to increase our self-confidence and attraction, so some people will use the photos taken in the photo shop and thus this idea is also reasonable for them. As we can't change or control others but we still could have choices. Like when feel have some special feeling or interest in someone, could request a vedio chatting as soon as possible to confirm if she/he is exactly same or same young or same good looking person as shown in the photos. This way could minimize time waste and disapointment...

The subject of PS pics here is not a new one. Many members have bemoaned it for a long time. To many of us it makes no sense why someone would use PS photos in the vain hope of being contacted by someone they will eventually meet in the flesh.

I was contacted by a lady who looked extremely attractive in her photos, but fortunately she had included a 'real-life' photo that quite frankly would scare the kids!

I've seen natural photos with a date-stamp of 2002, and photos of 53 year old women who look 21.

I guess their M.O is to get you to fall in love with their 'heart' rather than their appearance, but whatever their motive is, many people share your (obvious) thoughts that it's nothing short of foolish.
