Today is the lunar July 7th, Gregorian calendar on August 2, 2014, is our Chinese traditional Qi Xi Festival(七夕节). This day is now generally called Double Seventh day (also called Seven Skillful Festival, Beg skillful festival, Seven Sisters Born, namely double seventh lunar month) as the Chinese valentine's day. Lantern Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. This is the first full moon of the new year, symbolizing unity and perfection. The day of Horse Year is on February 14 of the Gregorian calendar, so this day is not only the traditional Chinese valentine's day "Lantern Festival” , but also happens to be "Valentine's Day" in the western tradition. 该拿的学位都拿了,该考的不该考的考试也都通过了。现在的业余时间都在练瑜伽、写博客,除了上班,没有什么任务必须在某个时间节点上完成。既然没有爱情,就花时间多补点亲情债吧。本着这样的想法,无论大节小假,我都提前二十天奔铁路12306网预订回珠海的火车票,回家看望父母和儿子,并带去武汉的时令蔬菜。武汉冬天冷,打了霜的红菜苔长得粗壮肥美,那种矮胖的白菜也特别好吃。特别是荠菜,珠海是根本看不到的。元旦以前,我在家起码做了四百个荠菜猪肉春卷,元旦带到珠海的起码有三百七十个春卷,在家过油炸一遍,再用装米的盒子包装好带回家。在珠海呆四天小假,回汉后打电话问老妈,问春卷味道如何?老人不能多吃油炸食品,大部分春卷进了我妹妹家。我妈说:“我不敢告诉你,怕你听了在家又傻着包好多春卷。你妹妹对我说;‘你看姐姐做的春卷比你以前做的又漂亮又好吃。’他们一家三口赞得不得了。”我说:“那春节再带点来。”我妈说:“再别做那么多,我知道一个人做那么多春卷非常辛苦。”结果春节我又做了二百多个春卷带回家。春卷皮的价格在春节前飞涨。我妹妹在家用春卷招待客人,非常体面。做春卷时需要现买刚在铁板上烫好的皮,拿回家趁热包。所以这事在珠海是绝对办不到的。如果二月份过完,荠菜就开花变老,因此过完春节回到武汉,趁天冷,又在家做了一些春卷,放冰箱冷冻,等到清明节四天小假回珠海前从冰箱拿出来过油炸一遍,又带给了珠海的妹妹。另外还带去了莴苣、野泥蒿。 Read more…
