Hi Neil. I both sense from your blogs and know from some off site discussions that your quest for a teaching job has been a little frustrating. Can you share some of your experiences so far with our members who may be considering following in your footsteps?

I have some CLM members whom I have been in contact with who state that if we marry they will love me always (a big statement). Is this something that Chinese women will make and commit too generally (and sincerely) or do they just want come to Australia. I have heard of these relationships happening very successfully.

Hi N,
Did you get the paperwork sorted??? Just keen to find out how you are faring with it because it is the biggest pain in the arse!!!

if you are able, you might consider the options of going 'independent' as a 'WOFE', it takes some overseas capital but as a GM of this company you are able to get full resident permits etc.

Your Story presents interesting information. I operate a Web Site called It would be great if you could visit the Site and then post your Story there under "My China Experience." Good Luck to you in your "Adventure" here.
