The Real Realistic Reality of 'Reality' Part 1

In Imi's recent blog, 'Our Lives Through A Keyhole', Imi wrote a comment on page 6 that reads -

"If your hotel room hasn't been cleaned for days, you will complain. Why? To make the hotel's service better. Why is it that when it comes to Immigration and the Government, we act as if they were five-year-olds making a tantrum in a candy store? Why can't we say no to them? Where is the genuine feedback from their customers to improve their system? It's been thirteen years since they have abolished the fiancee visa for Canadians because there were too many people who took advantage of it. Instead of curing the problem, they killed the program. I'm glad the people who work for the immigration didn't pursue a career in healthcare."

This, along with the comment he made in the original blog about his wife 'living' in his cellphone, made me think............a lot!

Sometimes I feel as if this world is like a ride in an amusement park - when you're on it, it seems real.

On January 22nd, 2015, Eric Schmitt, the then chairman of Google, told the world that the Internet would 'soon disappear'.

He went on to say, 'it would be part of your presence all the time'.

It reminded me of George Orwell's '1984' when he wrote, 'The people will not revolt, they will not look up from their screens'.

Despite my recent offerings to CLM, this is NOT a 'conspiracy blog', but it does raise a few questions.

These days just about everyone has a smart-phone. If not everyone, then a huge percentage of the world's population.

Then there's laptops, I-Pads, etc, we're ALL connected.

The amusement-park ride goes up and down, has thrills and spills, and lots of colour. It's loud, and it's least for a while......

Everyone is 'online'. We're all connected, 24/7. So much so that many people can't discern where their 'online life' ends, and their 'real life' begins.

Some of us who have been on that 'ride' for a while, begin to ask, "Is this real, or is it just a ride?"

Ray Kurzwell, director of engineering at Google, stated that we're going to become increasingly non-biological to the point where our biological parts are not important anymore.

Author, Philip Dick, (unfortunate name), said essentially the same thing back in 1977. He said 'we're living in a computer-programmed reality, and the only clue we have to it is when some variable is changed'.

Now, just as a point-of-reference, if you've read my book, 'The Devil's Playground', you'll know that I was profoundly 'Mandela Effected' back in 2017. Well, I experienced another 'M.E' in September 2018, so these words kind-of resonated with me......but we'll not go there right now......

That said, what IS 'real'? If you're going to refer to things you can touch, feel, taste, or smell, etc, then please understand that we're told these are simply electrical impulses decoded by the brain.

When Imi wrote about Janessa 'living in his phone', I began to wonder how many other people that this applies to. Whilst I am living in China by choice, and am not comparing my personal situation to Imi's, my kids essentially 'live' in my phone.

I'd go so far as to say that most people have far more friends and family 'living' in their phone, than they have in 'reality'.

How many people these days even know their neighbours?

When I was growing up in the UK, everyone in our street knew everyone else. Can anyone say that's true today?

We're all basically living in a simulated universe.

A few years ago, I wrote a blog about a Chinese lady I know who married her 'online sweetheart'. He's from Europe, and she lives in China. They seldom see each other so their lives are spent 'living' in each other's phone.

And there's the other thing......we call it a 'phone', right? How many people actually USE it as a phone? It's a mini-computer!

People use it to access FaceBook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Messenger, etc, and in China more than half the population use Wechat or QQ. No-one calls anyone anymore.......

When did this all begin? A few short years ago there were no such things as 'smart-phones', yet these days most people couldn't possibly live without one.

By the way, has anyone noticed how much hotter the Sun feels these days?

When people come to realise that our reality is just a 'ride', and try to tell others, they are berated, laughed at, or in extreme cases, killed. (JFK)

It seems that more and more of our life is spent in a virtual reality.

Sure, there's a positive side. The attraction of common-interests creates circles of peers, and often people have more in common with these 'online friends' than they do with their 'real' friends and family.

So much so that our 'online community' becomes more important than our physical surroundings. We spend more time sending e-mails and texting than we do using our vocal chords.

I can hear someone now...."Oh PLEASE will someone tell Paul to shut up. I've got too much invested in this 'ride'. Look at the bags under my eyes, my big fat bank account, and my fancy car'.

Sleep; Consume; Marry; Have Kids; Conform; Don't ask questions.

No......this is NOT 'conspiratorial' at all.....this is FACT!

Our privacy has been taken away from us. Our lives are nothing but an endless stream of data to be tracked, collected, and analysed, via our phones and CCTV cameras. Technology, or techKNOWLEDGEy'?

Most people are unaware that their phones transmit their location 24/7. This function cannot be turned off. (Blame 9/11 for this law being passed in the U.S)

Electronic surveillance, biometric identification at airports and immigration, is now our reality. Giving more power over our lives to corporations and governments.

We are slowly being de-humanised while losing our freedoms, and no-one seems to notice. No-one seems to care who we really are anymore, let alone why we're here.

'Transhumanism' is being sold to us as though it's something we should all embrace. I have teenagers in my school that are obsessed with movies such as 'Avengers' and 'Transformers'. These characters are idolised by these kids.

I recently saw a TED Talk where the speaker was talking about humans having 'nano-bots' put into the body and brain, in order to make us more 'intellectual'. Yet at the same time the education system around the world is ensuring kids are becoming less intelligent. Oxymoron, or what?

Who controls this 'virtual world', anyway? Who owns it?

Are we making our own decisions, or are our gadgets making them for us?

It's true that there seems to be some kind of 'agenda' that can be traced back to 1947, and since Orwell's '1984' was written in 1948, it does leave one wondering.....

Are we already 'transhumanists'? We're all certainly in 'transition', but to where?

I remember going out for dinner with a group of people in China. There was a rule that if anyone even so much as touched their phone during dinner, they copped the bill. That certainly made a refreshing change.....

Are we heading for a 'Borg' mentality? (See Star Trek if you don't know what the 'Borg' are, but it's essentially a 'beehive mentality' where noone is allowed to THINK for themselves). Is this all predictive programming?

What's the next step? Perhaps it's going to be a tattoo, or an RFID chip inserted into us. That way everything is all in one place. Your I.D, your passport details, banking details, money, etc. Oh how 'comfortable' life would be, right?

How long will it be before people like Imi and Janessa are not 'living' in each other's phones, but their phones are 'living' inside them?

What happens if you break some stupid rule and the powers-that-be turn off your chip? What happens to all the little 'favours' we do for others whereby a little bit of cash is slipped over? All gone, right? And for what? Just so you don't have to carry your car keys or driving licence with you every time you go out?

As 'virtual reality' becomes more realistic, what will happen to 'reality'?

Sorry, I was's just a 'ride', right? It doesn't matter. We can 'get off' anytime we like. After all, we do have a choice.......or do we?

Just to make a point..............

Paul, I like your blog very much, but I disagee with you entirely about it not being about a conspiracy. But first, let me say this as to what goes into the regular blogs and what goes into the conspiracy blogs.

Regular Blogs = everything that is on topic for an international online dating website, including topics regarding countries, culture or travel that relate to any of the countries from which we have members (which is all countries), anything relating to relationships, dating, love, romance, understanding women, understanding men, and anything specifically related to Chinese or Asian women, culture or travel.

Conspiracy Corner Blogs = everything else.

This blog is conspiratorial in any event because the questions you are posing and the changes we are going through that you describe all relate to the plans that have been put in place for us by the Global Elite who are making all such plans and decisions for us on our behalf, and with total disregard for our well being. Unless you think there is one single person behind all that, this involves a conspiracy of at least two people who make up the Global Elite.

I liked the video BTW, and generally enjoy the stuff Truth Stream Media puts out. This one was different than most, and more laid back, but very effective in making your point.

And it reminded me of all the constantly reported incidents of young people stepping into traffic, off of the subway platform in front of oncoming trains, off of bridges, off of buildings, etc. Just a day or two ago I read about a couple who fell off a mountain taking a selfie of themselves.

Maybe the Global Elite is right. Maybe there is no need for most of us to live

Or maybe it is just time we all wake up!

"Author, Philip Dick, (unfortunate name), said essentially the same thing..."

You think Philip Dick is an unfortunate name, Paul?  How about if his parents had named him "Rich Dick", "Baldwin Dick", "Cocky Dick", "Nicky Dick", "Ricky Dick", "Dicky Dick", "Roman Dick", "Willie Dick" or "Wiley Dick"?(giggle)

In any case, a thoughtful and entertaining article, thanks Paul.  (y)

@Barry1 - how about Little Dick, Tiny Dick, Skinny Dick, Tricky Dick (ala Richard Nixon). The list can just go on and on.

Don't be a dick, lol.

First let me say that I totally agree with you regarding 'Truthstream Media'. Have you seen the video they've put out called 'The Minds of Men'?

As for the 'Global Elite', ("Global', haha), they are many in number and often difficult to find. That said, they appear to be getting 'lazy' these days, and are essentially coming out of the proverbial 'woodwork' on may levels and in many places.

I mentioned over on Barry's blog that I have been doing some 'heavy-duty' research lately, and many questions are being answered. My task now is to try to articulate this information and write a couple of blogs explaining it in ways that most people can understand. It's pretty mind-blowing stuff!

With regards to the couple falling off a cliff while taking selfies, it was reported in China that a child drowned while the mother was playing on her phone. The crazy thing is that they were both in a swimming pool at the time.

I wonder how many people take their phone into the shower with them?

Be patient Paul. I will discuss the nature of reality and how errors are corrected in science with you in late January or early February 2019. Meanwhile, don't waste your time looking for accurate science information or process on a website that sells vitamin tablets. You need to develop better research skills than that. Start from original sources and sources that have a good scientific reputation. How mistakes are corrected in science is a very worthwhile process to follow. It tells you a lot about how science works If you need an explanation, that too will have to wait.

Over on my 'Devil's Playground' blog, @Autumn 2066 said -

Last week, a humanoid robot has been using as a news anchor in China Central Television. It seems our country will become a strong competitor in the marathon race in this field.

I have also seen this being reported in the UK, insofar as UK TV media is also using this technology.

Before you run out and embrace it, there are a couple of things you might like to consider.

1. If this technology is allowed to come to the fore, then our cognitive liberty is going to be at stake. In other words, you are going to be arrested for things you are THINKING................!

2. This technology is not what you think it is. A society does NOT go from driving round in a horse-and-cart to creating self-aware autobots in a mere 100 years or so.

What we are witnessing here is ANCIENT technology. "Oh really, Paul? How many bourbons have you had?"

We cannot replicate the Egyptian pyramids to this day, let alone the 'Sphynx'

Then there are ancient sites all over the world that have been constructed out of blocks of stone weighing hundreds of tonnes, and are so tightly knitted together that you can't put a cigarette paper between them.

We don't have the technology to do this in 2018, yet we can create self-aware humanoid robots? Are you kidding me?

All ancient cultures were 'dimmer' than us - at least according to mainstream (psuedo) science and the THEORY of 'evolution'.

What was it Einstein said..............“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Please, guys, don't judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree !

You couldn't make this up.....

After writing my comment above, this popped up on my computer......

Research - sometimes it just pops up on your computer!
