I don't have specific information re asiamatch.com but I took a look at it. My comments and observations are as follows.
1. If it is part of the "QPid Network" as you mentioned, then it must be associated with chnlove.com, which is a one hundred per cent guaranteed scam website. So on this basis alone, I'd stay clear of it.
2. I notice asiamatch.com is negatively reviewed on several internet sites, such as scambook.com and dragonladies.org, also raising a big red flag about the site.
3. I went to the trouble of joining aisiamatch.com and noticed that like all the scam dating websites, all the ladies shown there look lovely, with slick photos probably taken by professional photographers. Where were all the plain looking ladies? Where were all the sub-standard, home made photos? The fact that there were none, raises another huge red flag about this site.
4. The overall quality and "feel" of the site also reminded me of chnlove.com
My overall conclusion?
Stay away from asiamatch.com I believe it is yet another fraudulent website. Sadly, there seem to be more scam dating sites out there now than genuine ones, at least where international dating is concerned. Probably most of them are all ultimately controlled by the same bloc of mobsters, who I believe emanate from eastern Europe, most likely Russia.
It it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck and looks like a duck, then it's a duck. Asianmatch.com is a duck!
Thanks
If I am honest, however, I must say that the site satisfied my needs at the time. I had no 'game' after a bad marriage and a worse divorce and helped he to decide what I was really looking for without ending up in another bad marriage.
"I must say that the site satisfied my needs at the time."
Thanks for your comments, Christopher.
If a scam site like Asian Beauties satiated some of your needs after an unhappy marriage and a messy divorce, imagine how much better a bona fide dating site would've helped you.
Not only would a genuine site probably have been cheaper, but also there'd be a good likelihood you'd have met some real life ladies, as opposed to confidence tricksters.
Worse still are those stories floating around where scam sites such as these have fleeced well in excess of $100,000 from some very lonely souls, with nil end result. Some men such as these never even met a lady, but were just endlessly kept talking and talking, presumably for months. Unbelievable but true.
Best wishes to you.
"I wasn't actually ready for what I've found here."
I don't quite get this, Christopher.
Are you saying you were ready to be scammed and lied to by criminals posing as potential partners, stealing money (and time) from you?
But you were NOT ready for honest, genuine, sincere ladies as found here?
I certainly don't understand this. But then again, I appreciate your input into the discussion.
@Christopher53
Barry, I think Christopher53 means that he was not emotionally ready for real women seeking a real relationship, especially doing so Chinese style :-) So in a way it was good for him to spend a little cash to get a feel good, albeit untrue, dating experience. But, Christopher53, please correct me if I am wrong, and further enlighten us anyway.
John that is precisely what I meant. And thank you for a wonderful site. After chatting with a few charming ladies here and reading through a large number of profiles, I have made a connection with a lady here who I plan to meet this summer.
The money I spent on Asian Beauties is lost, no question, but there are no no lasting ill effects(sort of like a trip to Vegas.)
