Perception, Compromise, Respect

If Barry was wondering IF his kind and congenial invite would have any response -- this might indicate he was successful.

If Barry has Wechat then he can view the Kungfu Panda sticker -- in which the Panda bows respectfully.  Likewise to John for his congenial and generosity.

I am still living in China,  however summer 2019 becomes a very big challenge to remain here.   Due to the new rules and laws.  One never realizes the magnitude of age discrimination until one reaches it.  Especially if one cycles 35-70 km daily.  People ask how much time does this exercise take?  My Aussie friends zoom around to demonstrate their cycling skills in finishing the task much much faster than me.  I tell people it doesn't matter how much time I take.

It's a matter of perception .  There are two Greek words that I like to consider for this -- matter of perception. Kronos and Kairos.   (by the way -- some think simply using a lexicon will give them the meaning -- especially online public domain websites or the popular ones included in various software or apps)  .   However, to reduce my rambling -- I will simply follow this way in order to share a point of view.  Kronos is akin to our English usage -- Chronological -- which deals with seconds, minutes, hours etc... --  thus time related events unfold in a linear fashion .  Kairos -- deals with time related events as they unfold within a mode or sphere without concern for calculating the minute details of seconds, minutes etc.   Thus we have the expression -- time flies -- .  We might walk outside and begin a long walk  or hike or go cycling or swimming etc ... We might even daydream, or create a holographic experience within our mind concerning events, discussions, arguments, debates, travel, -- Calvin and Hobbes comic strip does this.   We experience the perception of "time " in a different fashion, manner or way than if we were to concentrate upon the chronological moments of time ticking away on our phones or watches.

I prefer the latter to the former.  Thus my exercise routine has a different goal than my other friends.  However, they continually goad me to follow their goal quite often.  Their perception of what is suitable, healthy, useful, efficient, efffective and necessary contrasts with mine.

An individual's Perception of many issues leads to conflict within the social fabric of 21st Century living.  The potential for violence in many forms  (physical, psychological, sociological) becomes the source for volcanic eruptions or tsunamis towards whoever their victim might be.  Although this is obviously known, seen and experienced there is still an endemic phenomena of this toxic social behavior.

For example ---

Over the past four decades I have experienced participating in social situations ( whether one - one or one - many)  .   Due to the other person's Perception I became the supposed "opponent" during the dialogue or discussion concerning a myriad of paradigms or stubbornly held opinions, beliefs or world views.  In more than enough situations I was not only an opponent but considered evil, demonic, a deluded moron, close minded, naive idiot, *****tard ( there are many examples -- libtard, flattard, globetard, Trumptard, fuktad, leftard, snowflake ad nauseam) .

Recently, in various News sources there are reported cases of an individual using weapons ( handguns or semi-automatic rifles ) to kill another person or persons due to their Perception of what should be exterminated or eliminated or silenced or injured.

There are even those who become Foghorns on a Soapbox screaming at others to accept their Perception or else face the supposed threat of  becoming so called "sheeple, assholes, demented fools, closed mind dimwits ad nauseam .  I have observed this phenomena for many decades via University campuses, major street intersections, parks, meeting halls, shopping malls etc.   Along with their messages which come from their Perception is the clarion call --- I care about you!  I am concerned for you!  I want you to "wake up!"  You MUST open your mind!! -- You will suffer consequences IF you do not accept the so called "Proof!!!!!!" of my Perception!!  I can Prove it!!!

There is also the added tantalizing challenge -- You should research more deeply.   You are not aware of the profoundity of said Perception.  Perhaps there is some marketing involved ?  You "only" need to spend a short time viewing (whatever information, booklet, pamphlet, Youtube video etc ) such and such then the darkened scales of unenlightenment will vanish from your eyes so that you will perceive the "Perception" which supposedly ushers you into the arena of belonging to said Perception.

Youtube????   Well I do recall that were many individuals with many a scheme.   Czar -- C - zar --  Caesar ...  (I have often wondered who the audience might be for this style of rhetoric --- primary school?)

Te Lie Vision?  and various usages of phonetic spelling for the sake of mockery, sarcastic wit etc ...

How about ... You - tube --- a tube is a hollow, usually cylindrical body of metal, glass, rubber, or other material, used especially for conveying information for those individuals who have -- tunnel vision ...  (sarcasm) Thus aiding YOU to participate in such tunnel vision.

There is a huge growing crowd of those who apparently consider that their Alternative facts and sources are sacrosanct or inviolable Perception to be evangelistically promoted everywhere.   At least their passionate effort equals those who use the term in a different fashion.  This is due to the Perception that normal Academic channels are to be anathematized.  Because there are cases where "publish or perish" is common or follow the Corporate Evil Empires that exist ( Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Farcebook, Apple, Amazon etc... I am using sarcasm ... I am a Linux user so there is a joke about Microsoft being the Evil Empire... Lol )  Cases where the scientific results followed Political entities, economic entities, big Pharma, conspirarcy theories, Global climate change,  Phd thesis, Tobacco, etc. etc. Yes, I have noticed this within the Academic World ... I have observed Phd candidates simply drilling more holes or re-using , cut and paste from previous Phd dissertations .   Obviously, there are huge amounts of benefits to be gained via scandalous behavior.

However, throw the baby out with the water along with the bathtub?

None of what I  have written above declares that the MSM or Gov't or so called "Deep State" or other sources have produced legitimate, reliable, trustworthy articles so that We are able to understand and perceive what is authentic and what is not authentic .   Ditto for those who seek to discredit some, most or all of the News Media that is available online or offline.  In orther words, Those who seek to provide alternative views concerning many events such as 9/11, Moon landings, School shootings, JFK, etc etc may or may not be as authentic as their proponents wish everyone to accept.  There is a myriad of opinions and a large diversity of viewpoints that are continually fought over each and every year or month.

Percception ......

JFK, Pearl Harbor, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Moon Landings, Area 51, UFOs, Flat Earthers, YEC, Many political and economic events etc etc.   My life during these events did not change drastically.  It is fascinating to engage in "thought experiments " as to what might have happened IF those events had been exposed in the manner presented by various writers.   History itself has always been quite messy especially with the wide diversity of writers attempting to prove or pontificate what actually happened and the reasons behind these historical events.   Of course, it is useful and appropriate for those outside of the MSM to engage in pursuits of discovering what manipulative controls or political / economic agendas are being pushed upon the public.   However, to declare emphatically that anyone who doesn't believe, accept, agree , or refuses to sign up to join any particular Foghorn on a Soapbox should be labeled as a dimwitted moron, unenlightened, closed minded, has not "woken up" yet, etc etc etc... is perpetuating mimetic social behavior ... This cycle of mimetic exhibitionism holds even for metaphysical things like moral values, which in a society that seeks to have it become a wearable commodity.

It would be well worth the time and effort to read Rene Girard concerning this social phenomena.  Oh my, I am so sorry and embarrassed that I did not link to a Youtube video ...  (sarcasm)  And should you be as busy as most people are or prefer spending tooooo much time engaging social media in various formats -- no problem -- I will certainly not taunt you like the French Knights taunting King Arthur in Monty Python style.

By the way I did not need Youtube to locate enough information to get the various scoops that are apparently necessary to hear via being screamed through a Foghorn on a Soapbox.

TNN faces off daily with Regenade.  Both of these are outside the infamous, nefarious, corrupt, incorrigible MSM  (sarcasm)

Oligarchs or NWO or ?????

The degree of focus on the ‘JQ’ Jewish Question by Renegade Bot and others, in fact serves to mask a bigger matter … the ‘OQ’, the Oligarch Question

Perception ......

And how all of this cataclysmic, catastrophic, apocalyptic News ( including 5,000 hrs!  there should be an enormous celebratory party !!)  surely must without fail directly influence and determine your daily conscious social behavior is truly astounding !!

Perception .....

I have written much more than I intended.  I wish to add a declaimer as well.   I have read a lot of the Conspiracy articles .  I would 'enthusiastically' invite any of those contributors to an expensive meal while enjoying the time to discuss any topic regardless of their Perception.

Thus I must now wait until I can continue to write about

Compromise and Respect ...  and hopefully not mangle it too terribly

to relate all three terms to Relationships between Cultures ...

Hello, I wish to register a complaint...Hello? Miss?

Shopkeeper----What do you mean, miss?

-----Oh I'm sorry, I have a cold. I wish to make a complaint!

Shopkeeper -----Sorry, we're closing for lunch.

------Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.

Shopkeeper  -----Oh yes, the, the Norwegian Blue. What's wrong with it?

------I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. It's dead, that's what's wrong with it!

Shopkeeper ------No, no, it's resting, look! Don't believe me????  Spend time viewing Youtube videos!

-------Look my lad, I know a dead parrot when I see one, and I'm looking at one right now.

Shopkeeper  -----No no sir. it's not dead. It's resting!  Open yer mind!  Research more via Youtube !!

Shopkeeper   ----Yeah, remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, beautiful plumage viewable thru Youtube videos , innit?

-----The plumage don't enter into it - it's stone dead.

Shopkeeper    ----No, no - NO!  Sheeeeesh! How many times do I need to repeat myself ?   Are ya deaf Sonny boy????   Read my lips!   Youtube

-----All right then, if it's restin', I'll wake him up! (shouts into cage) Hello Polly! I've got a nice Youtube vid for you when you "wake up!", Polly Parrot!

Shopkeeper  ----(jogging the cage while shoving a Youtube vid via his cellphone in the guy's face) There, it moved!

-----No, he didn't. That was you pushing the cage!

Shopkeeper   ----I did not.  I was simply trying to help you "wake up"

------Yes, you did! (takes parrot out of cage, shouts) Hello Polly, Polly (bangs it against the counter) Polly Parrot, wake up. Polly. (throws it in the air and lets it fall to the floor) Now that's what I call a dead parrot.

Shopkeeper  -----No, no. You  stunned it.  If you had let it watch Youtube vid then it would get excited!

------Look my lad, I've had just about enough of this. That parrot is definitely deceased. And when I bought it not half an hour ago, you assured me that its lack of movement was due to it being tired and shagged out after a long squawk of watching Youtube vids.

Shopkeeper  ------It's probably pining for the fjords.

-----Pining for the fjords, what kind of talk is that? Look, why did it fall flat on its back the moment I got it home?

Shopkeeper  -----The Norwegian Blue prefers kipping on it's back! Easier to watch Youtube vids that way.   Beautiful bird, lovely plumage!

------Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been nailed there.

Shopkeeper  ---Well of course it was nailed there. Otherwise it would muscle up to those bars and voom. Why? because it watched many Youtube vids showing how to voom!

-----Look matey (picks up the parrot) this parrot wouldn't voom if you put 15,000 hours of serious solid incredible research through it! It's bleedin' demised!

Shopkeeper -------It's not, it's pining for more Youtube vids!!!!

----It's not pining, it's passed on. This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it would be pushing up the daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot.

Tally Ho!  Watson, the Case is Afoot!!

Wow! This is a great comeback WarmLife. I am much impressed. By "comeback" I do not mean that you had some kind of a downfall from which you had to recover. I mean that you wrote a series of posts for sometime which all, I think, were met with much approval and appreciation. Now, after a lengthy hiatus, you return with a post that causes the gap in between your last post and this one to melt away, as if there had been no gap at all.

You've returned as if you never left, so well does your post fit into the current situation here on CLM.

I confess, though, that but your one promise that you plan "to relate all three terms to Relationships between Cultures ...", I would have felt compelled to move this post from the regular blogs category into the Conspiracy Theory category.

But you are not one to break a promise, so I am leaving it where you have submitted it.

I am going to focus on only one point in your blog, because I otherwise agree with pretty much everything you wrote. Maybe agree is not quite accurate. Some things I may not "agree" with, but I recognize that in those instances you are just as likely to be right as I am where our thoughts differ.

But on this one point, I feel you're in error. You wrote:

"JFK, Pearl Harbor, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Moon Landings, Area 51, UFOs, Flat Earthers, YEC, Many political and economic events etc etc."

In my opinion your error is to treat these topics as if they are all of equal importance, or as if they all have the same consequences as to how they affect us overall. To me "JFK" stands out dramatically from all the other examples, including the unnamed ones covered by Many political and economic events etc etc.

Why? Because all of the events you mention except "JFK", and I would add "9/11" to the that list, are events in which the duly elected American Government chose to lie to, deceive or simply hoodwink the people who elected them in order to attain a result the Government had decided was a good one, for whatever reason. In each case it is a situation of "Fool me once, bad on you. Fool me twice, bad on me!"

But JFK's assassination was not such event. It was a coup. It was the removal of a duly elected President (Government) by the powers that be, against the will of the people. JFK may have barely squeeked into the Presidency, but by the time he was publicly butchered, he was adored by a huge majority of Americans, and by the World.

He was en route to changing the world against the will of the Global Elite, and for that he was butchered in a way that could leave no doubt for all who followed in his footsteps, that if they didn't choose to kneel and obey they too could easily be removed in a way that would be unpleasant to the extreme!

Until Trump, every elected President since JFK has known he'd better tow the line or he would die in office. Trump knows it too, but has the backing of the military.

Another comprehensive article chock full of interesting bits and pieces....  your tales, observations and anecdotes have been sorely missed.

Welcome back to CLM, Jim! (handshake)(handshake)

Thank you! You made my day. This blog is brilliant!

#2018-11-06 19:34:38 by paulfox1 @paulfox1

Yes, welcome back!

Interesting blog, on many levels. The #1 thing that struck me was the theme of 'perception'. All of us see things in different ways. That said, just because one person perceives something differently to another person, it doesn't make either of them 'wrong'.

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe said;-

"None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds, by masters who rule them until wrong looks like right in their eyes."

How can anyone define 'wrong' and 'right'? What's the difference once you include perception?

So 'brilliant' that you want it banished to conspiracy corner. Makes sense........

"So 'brilliant' that you want it banished to conspiracy corner."

Paul, you have a habit of reaching amazing conclusions, regardless of what I say.

My view is simple. Outside of Conspiracy Corner, there should be no conspiracy talk. If that view is adopted by the moderator, then the moderator's task becomes a simple one for any conspiracy talk outside of Conspiracy Corner - censor or relocate.

You often want to admonish people with "If you don't like it don't read it." You will be able to use that phrase as much as you like with your conspiracy talk inside Conspiracy Corner.

"Until Trump, every elected President since JFK has known he'd better tow the line or he would die in office. Trump knows it too, but has the backing of the military"

More than one attempt has so far been made on President Trump's life.  Not to mention, no doubt a huge plethora of threats. The more I study this man, the more I realise how brave he is. He's a true hero, in many ways. Sure, he has some irritating or questionable points also.

I believe though, that over the medium to long term, the American public will increasingly comprehend what a good and courageous man he truly was.  :^)

Instead of generating more blogs dealing with Perception ... I keep the posts dealing with Perception within this thread .. although it certainly is no sound-bite ...  :D:D

The prevalence of various theories within social media, websites, News, published books is astounding. Almost every historical event or observable phenomenon seems to have at least several ( and often mutliple) theories associated with it. I certainly do  not wish nor intend to "disprove" any theory presented within CLM.  Firstly, those who adhere to various theories believe they are " bullet proof"  due to their "I can prove it!! " mentality and at time condesceding attitue or conspiratorial aggressive postures which can include ad hominem arguments.   A few days ago, a good friend wrote this ... You obviously do not know the intentions of  .... (concerning about a topic which I will not mentioned while living in a certain area ... whether people like it or not )  --- My reply was -- Pro tip:  Be careful when using the ad hominem argument ...  Which he replied ... lalalalalalalala  ....   (meaning he went on and on about my incognizant, nescient, clueless "sheeple" cognitive skills in understanding history )
To account for various perceptions and observations. Anyone who studies history seriously ( meaning more than watching countless YouTube vids or anti-Academic or conspiratorial Websites or Wikipedia or even "popular written books" --- or even "tomes" that promote and seek to discover abstruse, arcane, enigmatic, orphic, mystical within known ancient documents that had virtually little or nothing to do with these ideologies ----   Caution  ---- I did not write that these ideologies were superficial nor serious --   but instead ... reread it ... grin grin
--- knows that there is rarely a completely reliable ( indicating the " Modern " view of reliability -- from the Englightenment era and beyond  --- from a Post-Modern view -- ), authoritative version of the facts  ( facts --- what a fascinating and abstruse word to throw around everywhere in endless debates and arguments --  as IF this word had some "Trump" card ability --- about as beneficial and benignant as attempting to use the word "love"  )  surrounding any notable occurrence.
When there are potential tidbits of inconsistency (or potential contradictions  -- inconsistency can also mean fickle or changeable or uncertain too -- that is not the usage here )   upon which most conspiratorial theories rely occur with a lot of the information that is present within Websites, YouTube vids or social media accounts then there is a supposed open door for " The Truth is Out There!" posture.  In other words, it's natural for some or most? people to believe that there should be no inconsistency in events that have been reported by a diversity of sources. Thus those who are involved in seeking or observing an inconsistency, they quickly pounce upon this instance and utilize it as evidence (the smoking gun ---egad!  be wary of -- You only need to spend the next several thousands upon thousands of viewing more YouTube vids or whatever paraphernalia ) that the intuitive explanation  must be flawed and we should search for a more complicated, esoteric, enigmatic, Gnostic answer, solution, explanation .
To seem intelligent. Conspiratorial theories are often much more elaborate than what's commonly believed about something. And they usually require the listener to expand his understanding to accept the possibility of a conspiratorial agenda. Those who casually examine photographs of the lunar landings are impressed when they are led to discover potential discrepancies. This inflates the ego and gives one the impression that he is smarter than the dozens who look at the same photographs and see nothing special. Or in my arena those who deem their magisterial, supercilious ability to perceive the hidden intrique written in ancient documents -- so that they can persuade others to obtain the similiar level of hermetic, mystical secrets of the "Matrix like Reality " .
To declare another as "ignorant sheeple who are destitute of profound "Gnosis" is simply to indicate that their perception of Reality is sacrosanct while the uninitiated is floundering in the "Matrix like Reality" ... hopelessly lost ... where resistance is Futile ...

So, when did you become a moderator on this forum?

You're coming across in a way that you seem to be barking orders at John Abbot.

Perhaps you should apply for the job of running the blog section of CLM.

You need to study his business history. After studying his business dealings your assessment will definitely change.
