Sadly racism is alive and well, not just in the USA but everywhere.

It's not just between blacks and whites, but religious intolerance is like a festering sore also, in many parts of the world.

As far as China goes though, I have never seen any prejudice against me, whenever I was with Tina. Everyone seemed happy or interested to see us together. Many women in particular, were smiling and pleased at the union.

This is another good reason why Western men should have no fear about dating a Chinese lady. Racism or bigotry towards Westerners in China seems to be very insignificant. I'd not say it never occurs, because always there'll be a small percentage of narrow minded people, right around the world. Every country has their share of low educated rednecks.

In fact, I'd like to live in China for a while, such was the welcoming atmosphere I found there. The language problem is the only real thing holding me back. (wasntme)
