Chinese Women, Asian Women, Online Dating & Things Chinese and Asian
Barry from Australia is a questioning soul who looks at social issues from an alternative point of view and instead of asking, “Why?”, he asks “Why not?” He’s convinced that many of his previous incarnations were spent in China. He feels drawn to the people there; attracted by their rich culture and way of life. If given one wish from God, he’d reply, “I want everyone on Earth to be the same colour, speak the same language, and treat each other as they themselves would like to be treated.”

Dude, you should have flown.

@ Barry 1
Hello Barry,...
Your post is so humorous !!
All parts of farting from yogurt,...toilet experience to,... Tina's response on bus with talkative lady in the seat next to you, very funny !!
Is almost like a Woody Allen movie!!

Ah,...It seems like you and Tina start to get down to the "nitty gritty" (Ha!).
Is really a good thing in my mind.
Has to happen sooner or later.
I feel both know that Tina is a "good one" for you and you are"good one" for her.
You got lucky buddy.
Hopes you can see and don't let it "slip away".
Sure there are things different,... but hopes you each can perceive and understand.
Makes agreement and adjustment.
Really can happen !!!

But now that the initial things are covered, both can get down to the really important stuff about how you each wish to get along with each other.
It is time now brother.
Go ahead and risk your questions.
Tina will answer you sincere.
She is good lady as you already know.
Then, can each make up your minds about future.
So simple and yet,... has the complexities as well.
Is understood.

I wish there was some song, or instrumental music I could give to you both to help relax and get to deeper level.
You know,...find the deeper level of heart and mind.
I have many,... but cannot choose.
Besides,...I have probably given enough already (ha) !!!

OK,...I can't resist.
I must give something to listen to.
This I send to BOTH of you.
It is "Quartet if F major" by Maurice Ravel (1903?).
All is good by a very young Maurice.
Listen to the second movement though.
Is like gentle rain with a stop, and then more rain.
Is the "pizzicato" element.
Very relaxing.
I think is good music to listen to for calming before conversation.
Maybe you and Tina will feel the same.

Look,...I know this music is sort of "long hair instrumental" but, I also know you are D.J. and you must have appreciation for all forms of music.
Just give it a chance.

Here is "youtube" recording:

Maurice Ravel - String Quartet in F major
Alban Berg Quartett 1984

I. Allegro moderato. Très doux
07:41 - II. Assez vif. Très rythmé
14:34 - III. Très lent
23:53 - IV. Vif et agité

Is very interesting that the young Ravel was questioning his work and asked the older Debussy's opinion.
Response Debussy: "In the name of the Gods of Music, NOT change a note" !!
I love it.

I've said enough.
Really hope you find a way to be together.
Peace and Blessings to you both.
Yin Ting Yu,...aka. Gongji

Barry, you are a funny, cantankerous, moody old bastard!! Good on you for letting Tina see all sides of you(rofl) I have not laughed so hard for such along time, the woman bedside you got Karma'd old boy!! Love it!!

Once again love the photos, very illuminating and enlightening to what your keen eye has helped us see. Keep them coming mate!

“Western men have bigger penises than Chinese men” giggled Tina It is interesting as I have had a few Chinese women here on this site say the same thing to me....

She has stated out loud what we western men have known for many years.....also by saying this the cat is definitely out of the bag now Barry, you cannot fool us anymore...

I find it very interesting that Tina tried to berate you for laughing out loud, yet did not translate what the fat old yoghurt recipient more than likely said about you in Chinese lol

Tina's hand on your upper inner thigh tells the story better than your words to hide it my boy!!

to answer anon11040....yes it is true, and it is on average a "big" difference!(dance)

Barry once again I love your writing and I am even more jealous than I was before!!

George who? (giggle)

Look forward to next episode in the Barina saga!

P.s. why do the Chinese men have their shirts off at meal table and sit with their legs wide open? is it custom to do so??

"very interesting story, thank you! "

You sound like a very nice person, Belle77. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. Like you, as I've grown older, I realise some of the daring activities we did when we were younger, we no longer take. With age comes wisdom and maturity. Life's too precious to take unnecessary risks.

Best wishes to you. :)

"I was the envy of many Chinese man in the sausage department."

Now we know why so many Chinese ladies are chasing Western men, Nekko! ;)

#2014-07-18 16:48:32 by Barry1 @Barry1

"I thought I could ask how Tina would know this, but the answer is kind of obvious"

Thanks for the laugh you gave me, Nekko - you really are a hoot! (rofl)

You also asked,

"Does Tina read the story you write?"

Tina reads nothing at all, Nekko. This is why I can get away with murder, as far as what I write! I'm really glad she doesn't bother.

Cheers mate. ;)

"How is the relationship between Barry and Tina?"

Thanks for your comments and your enquiry, Jennifer.

In a nutshell, things are up one day and down the next. Two steps forward and one step backwards.

I'm confident things will improve however. But then again, who can be sure? I've learnt in this life to take nothing for granted. Because so many things don't turn out the way that you've planned unfortunately.

Best wishes to you also, Jennifer. (y)

"you are a funny, cantankerous, moody old bastard!"

I agree with you, Anon11064. This is why I'm stuffed if I know why Tina seems to like me? :^)

You also said:

"Once again love the photos"

Thanks for this but thanks also go to CLM for having the good heartedness to publish them all.

"“Western men have bigger penises than Chinese men"

I'm glad you agree with me, Anon11064. (y)

"I love your writing and I am even more jealous than I was before!! "

Thanks for this but I just write the way I see things. To me, it's just a natural thing, as if I'm chatting to someone on the phone. As for being jealous, my advice is to buy an air ticket, fly to China and go for it!

As long as you're with a compatible partner, all manner of adventures can be experienced. Carry a notebook, write everything down - then make a series of blog article about it all. Gosh, wouldn't it be great if everyone did this? Imagine some of the fantastic tales that would emerge from it all.

"why do the Chinese men have their shirts off at meal table and sit with their legs wide open?"

I think the answer to this is their tummies are so full and bulging out that they're forced to spread their legs! (rofl)

"you should have flown"

The problem though is that you miss all the action on the ground. I have some great photos of things I saw whilst careering along in the bus. Some interesting memories of sights that I saw, such as all the avalanche and earthquake damage along parts of the bus route.

It really is a tough call though. Take the easy way of getting there by plane? Or the far more interesting yet life threatening way by bus?

Damned if I do. Or damned if I don't, sort've thing. :^)
