I Am Not Chinese Dating, I'm Hanging With Stupid

Is that Paul Fox in the picture, contemplating his next run at the poor religious types that seem bent on getting in his way at every turn.

We have been distracted lately from our usual pre-occupation with dating Chinese women, and somehow caught up in a debate over, not whether there is a God, so much as is that an appropriate subject for an online dating site's blogs. For those of you who think I've been overly analytical and critical of Paul and/or his blog, I'd just like to point out that there are no other blogs on any dating site anywhere, where the subject ever would have come up. That's because our blogs are written by real members who generally get to voice their thoughts on anything important to them.

And then other members get to voice their opinions back at them.  It's a long way from the usual professional fluff that is dedicated 100% to keeping the suckers glossy eyed and wallets out that you find on other dating sites, so please bear that in mind when you are casting evil spells on me for taking this little run at our good blogger Paul.

And also consider that Paul has come out of the little debate over on his blogs relatively unscathed, a few bruises maybe but hardly battered. For the most part, there was not a lot of dissonance over having a heated religious discussion, and frankly the guys I was being most offended on behalf of were stonily silent. However, if I am right that may be because they've all left the CLM ship, assuming that the Atheist rats have taken control completely.

And maybe they have, who knows? But here's my current take on it.

The odd religious article will be okay provided it does not get insulting to anyone. I am not buying that "stupid" doesn't mean stupid and therefore nobody should be insulted over being called stupid multiple times in an article. So future articles will need to be a little more respectful of all fellow members, even when the author is one of those super casual, anything goes, take no prisoners, Aussie blokes.

But provided they are not insulting, religion and politics will be accepted in the blogs, so long as they are not the consistent subject being presented by a blogger. In other words one out of 4 blogs is acceptable, 3 out of 4 won't cut it at all. Having said that Paul writes lots of great blogs on lots of great topics, so I can't fault him there at all.

I am down with a pretty serious flu right now, so I have not been commenting back the last few nights, but as they say in the sports world, "it ain't over til it's over".  And it ain't over, I assure you. I will be back soon in good fighting form to take one last shot at all you cranky, "I hate all things religious" types. Even though I am not religious at all, the lawyer in me wants those guys to get a fair trial.

The picture above is borrowed form an article on "Only Stupid People Call People Stupid" which you might enjoy over on The .ca indicates that it is a Canadian publication, and that in turn suggests that, given the title of the article, we Canucks are the pathetically poltically correct opposites of our rude, slam everyone and everything, kick em when their down Aussie mates.

Now, does that guy next to Planet Earth above remind you of anybody we all know and love here on the CLM Blogs? I'm just asking?

Haha....John.....! I have much more hair on my head than your little 'friend' in the photo - but thanks for your backing

"Our Bazza" did make a good point that my recent blog has had more comments than other blogs of late, and you know me well enough by now to know that I will write about any subject I think is curious or interesting

Also, you are sadly quite correct about the level on 'Political Correctness' in Canada. I work with a Canadian teacher and he drives me insane with it. I have never been to Canada and should I ever go, I reckon I'd last about 30 minutes after getting off the plane before someone throttled me -lol

Personally I think most 'political correctness' is 'stupid' - but then I would...., wouldn't I ?(rofl)

@John Abbot
Hey John,
Sorry to hear about your current infirmity. Hope you will regain usual health soon. Perhaps said condition (flu) has directed you into a state of slight delirium? It's OK with me because I have been in that state myself. Feels all disoriented. Still your words are lucid and to the point,... as usual.

In answer to your question,..."does that guy next to Planet Earth above remind you of anybody we all know and love here on the CLM Blogs?" Yes but, I cannot put my finger on "Who" in particular. I have seen and experienced so much in my days. All these different "character types" and "body forms" seem to meld into each other. (rofl)

Listen man, just settle down and allow your body to heal. Remember you are engaged with a very beautiful life partner. Allow her to take care of you while you are low. We can All wait for "Papa John" to come back. Also remember please, you are the "Barnyard, Sentinel Rooster" for this menagerie and we All rely on your direction, discretion, and reminders to move forward in this venue. No big deal for me. Already sensed, accepted and appreciated. I like it!

Now,...I'm sending you a little bit of healing music and I hope you can pick it up.
They are specifically recommended for your Irish DNA. Mine (Scottish) as well.
"O' Carolan's Dream".
There's something about brass strings on Celtic harp that appeals.
I think you will agree.

"Pipes and Drums of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards"

Aye Lad,... if this don't get you up and pumpin', I don't know what else will.
I'm almost sure you know these melodies from childhood.
This selection was 2012 in Hong Kong when lands were given back to mainland China.
What was crowd response ??
"Come back please, Help Us"...

Do you notice the apparel of the pipers?
'Tis the tartan of Royal Stewart House. That's right,... "Bonnie Charlie" !!
Even though masquerading with the British (baton leader) Crown in front !!
Notice the short swords on hilt and the "dirks" (sgian-dubh) in right leg stocking's ?
Ready for mortal hand to hand combat,...when and if ever necessary (manly, honorable dignity).

So,...have yourself a small shot of Jacky D., Glenlivet or, Donny J..., blow that stuff away and come back to us.
If no, 'twill be understood yet,...Ye would be missed....
Heal up, take your time, let us hear from you.

Funny! I only have one thing to say. Calling someone else, let alone a lot of people "stupid" does not reflect lack of intelligence of those people, but rather what kind of person the writer is. Just saying....

:x I did not write that last comment. Really!

Hiding behind anonymity in order to make such a comment is stupidity in itself. I honestly suggest that you (and others) check the Wikipedia definition of 'stupid' - you may actually be surprised at its TRUE and plentiful meanings(n)
