Like you, I was born into this 'matrix' we call 'reality'. I was taught the same things you were. I believed the same things you believe. Once you come to the understanding that we've been lied to about 'everything', including the shape of our 'home', you change. You become a completely different person. If the Earth didn't happen by some cosmic 'big bang', then it must have been created. If so, then everything on Earth was also created, including you and me.

I have recently been undergoing some regressive therapy. Absolutely mind blowing!

No doubt many of you will say I'm crazy for believing in re-incarnation, but it's not a 'belief' any more.

We've been lied to about everything in order to prevent us from finding out who we REALLY are - who the person INSIDE our body really is.

That 'entity', or 'soul' if you prefer, is something that goes on forever. It doesn't 'die' when our flesh does.

But of course, 'they' don't want us to know that, do they......

Thanks for the link. I can open this one, will read it later.(handshake)(beer)

Yes, you get it, right? lol

I found it amusing, Autumn2066, that YOU found it amusing, that a fight might be starting!

I agree though, there's nothing like a good verbal brawl every now and then to clear out the cobwebs, get the blood flowing and remove the deadwood in our heads!

To @all CLM members who think that this discussion has nothing to do with dating.

I have been asked, on more than one occasion, why the subject of the shape of our Earth is connected to what CLM stands for.

Directly, it isn't. Indirectly, it has everything to do with what CLM stands for.

I'll be expanding more in my forthcoming blog that is currently being written in response to Imi's blog, but for now please allow me to give you a small insight.

When seeking a partner, one of the first things we need to convey is that we are a 'nice person'.

If you read the comments in this blog, as well as the blog itself, you will see that I have been 'attacked' by Imi, John, Melcyan, and a host of others. The ONLY person who has 'has my back', is @Barry1.

The people who have 'attacked' me are exactly the same as I used to be - indoctrinated, brainwashed, 'sheeple'.

Aside from Barry, (oh, and Autumn), not ONE PERSON has had the attitude of, 'Hmm, Paul, you have some interesting ideas, why don't we explore those ideas?'

No, instead you call me 'crazy', you think I'm a f*cking idiot because I no longer subscribe to the indoctrination and BS that we've all been taught since birth.

How many of you have asked me 'why?'. Even Imi himself has stated he refuses to look at any YT videos I send links to.

Sure, YT hosts a lot of crap, but it's alternative media, and since the mainstream media is controlled by about 6 corporations and puts out total BS 99% of the time, where else is there to go to get information?

There's a hell of a lot of decent people creating awesome content on YT. Not only that, but giving you links to DECENT YT videos saves me a lot of time and energy when it comes to replies here.

So, to all you 'nice people' out there who are so deeply entrenched in your own beliefs that you fail to acknowledge the beliefs of someone who doesn't agree with yours, I say this....

You are so bloody-minded and egotistical that you think your world-view is the ONLY world-view. You think along the lines of 'it's my way, or the highway'. You foolishly beLIEve that if 99% of the 'sheeple' believe something, then it must be true.

You can't even let off enough 'slack' of your 'tightrope' in order to consider where someone else is 'coming from', or even ask them as to why their paradigm differs from yours.

Scenario: As a guy, you meet a really nice girl, on CLM, who you hope to have a relationship with. You're making your best efforts to 'woo' her, when suddenly you make a joke about Paul Fox and what he's been talking about on CLM.

'Haha, the guy's a total idiot!', you say, hoping she'll agree with you.

How devastated would you be if she stood up, picked up her handbag, turned to you and said, 'Well, actually he's not. I've read much of what he's written, I've done my own research, and I've come to the conclusion he's speaking a lot of truth."

As she walks away she says, 'How much research have you done? Dickhead!'

What does it have to do with dating? - EVERYTHING!

Most of it is down to your own ego and your attitude towards anything that doesn't fit within your own narrative.

Please don't let my passion be misinterpreted as anger. Sure, you and I have had our differences over the years, but it's all healthy 'banter' as far as I am concerned.

Look, the way I see it is like this..... If I walked down the street and saw you slashing at your wrist with a sharp knife, I'd wrestle you to the floor and take that knife away from you. Sadly, you'd probably report me to the police for assault.

What I'm doing here is TRYING to help people to 'wake-up' and realise that we've been lied to about everything!

Our 'world' is NOT what we've been taught it is. I KNOW this for a fact, but it's very, very, hard to convey to others, (I guess it's supposed to be difficult, otherwise you'd still be trapped in the 'belief system' wondering whether or not I'm speaking the truth)

The shape of the Earth is just a miniscule part of what we all beLIEve to be 'true'.

I'm up to around 5000 hours of research now. This also includes my own experiments. All I'm asking people to do is to LOOK into it. Don't take MY word for it - it's a personal process that you have to do by yourself.

"You shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall set you free"

Mate, please remember that 'Knowing' is the enemy of 'Believing'

Love ya !

Yes, Paul, the plane is going forwards with respect to the ground, but backwards with respect to the center of the earth.  It is the same with my illustration of a person walking in a train, or swimming in a river.  It's all a question of the frame of reference, which is a fancy way of saying the observer.  The swimmer is definitely swimming forwards with respect to the water; that is independent of whether the water is moving or not.  But to an observer standing on the riverbank, it might appear that the swimmer is going backwards, depending on how fast the current is.

Yes, a man with a conviction is hard to change, but it does NOT follow that the man with the conviction is necessarily wrong.  Pig-headed is not necessarily the same is stupid, uninformed, ignorant, or illogical.  He just might be right.  Stupid cuts both ways:

I am anti-warming, and anti-vaxxer.  I will debate debate these with anyone based on facts and logic.  Obviously my opinion is not mainstream, which means that I may choose facts that are not published by mainstream media.  According to mainstream media, 9/11 was done by 19 Arabs with boxcutters.  The government "proved" this with a huge study.  A bigger compilation of lies, half-truths, cover-ups, ignored facts, and utter BS was probably never written.  I'm sad to say that the chief author of that PoS was a professor from my alma mater.  For the hilarious 5-minute take on just how ridiculous the Party Line is, watch this:

I also believe that the moon landings probably never happened.  As is the case with so many of these conspiracy theories, there is no smoking gun proof of this.  There is no evidence that cannot be destroyed, stolen, faked, or made to appear laughable.  There is no whistleblower who cannot be suicided or made to become the victim of an unfortunate accident.  There is some information that The Powers That Be do NOT want you to know, and they will stop at literally nothing to ensure that you do not learn it, or if you do, that you are not taken seriously.  That leaves us to investigate, connect the dots, question motives, follow the money, and question everything we see or hear or learned in school.  Curiously, my experience is that often the more intelligent a person is, the harder it is to convince them to accept anything other than the mainstream version of truth, no matter how many holes you can poke in it.

"I am anti-warming, and anti-vaxxer.  I will debate these with anyone based on facts and logic." Let's say we have a debate, John Abbot adjudicates and you "win" the debate. What has changed? Regardless of the debate, the science remains the same.

@paulfox1  In physics it is standard practice to make simplifying assumptions.  For example, when calculating the trajectory of a bouncing ball, we typically assume that no energy is lost in the bounce, or due to air resistance.  We know and understand that this assumption is false, but we use it because it makes the calculations MUCH simpler, and the calculation is generally close enough for practical use.  The same is true with flight dynamics calculations.  As for the various adjustments that you mention, they are so small as to be negligable in practice.  When you walk, you are slowed down by air resistance, but this is so small that you never notice it.  Get on a bicycle however, and it becomes the primary factor limiting your speed.

Pilots do fly straight and level, because we use various cues to know when the plane is level.  As my flight instructor told me, the expression "flying by the seat of your pants" means that the experienced pilot can feel, through the seat of his pants, if the airplane is being flown correctly or not.  I actually experienced this myself one time when I forgot to retract the flaps after take-off.  Something just didn't feel right, and when I finally caught on and retracted the flaps, all was well again.  More typically, the cues are visual, but when this is not possible we use instruments such as the artificial horizon instrument to tell us when we are level.  Following the visual cues, we just automatically keep the plane level, much as we automatically follow the road when driving a car.

The reason you don't have one photo of the earth from space is that we've never been far enough away.  NASA = "Never A Straight Answer".

The 196km microwave link is very clearly documented with the link you provided, and the illustration includes the curvature of the earth.

Paul, the force your granddaughter is experiencing is called centripetal force.  It is the force required to keep her on the roundabout.  If she were to let go, she would go flying off in a STRAIGHT LINE.  That is because motion in a straight line is what happens when a body is in motion and no forces are applied.  It requires centripetal force to turn a straight line into a circle.

Railroads simply follow the lay of the land, whether up mountains or down valleys.  The curvature of the earth is negligable in comparison.

Yes, it is gravity that keeps all the oceans in place on the globe.  It is what allows all of us to stand on our feet no matter where we stand.  I know that this all sounds like so much high-school physics, because it is.  I'll be the first to say that in reality, we're all living in a holographic simulation, and none of this is real.  However, that is several bridges too far for most people.  The lies that we have been taught are indeed stupendous, but that does not mean that everything we have been taught is a lie.

@Imi I only mentioned this because @JohnAbbott uses these same words to criticize @paulfox1.  He should at least treat both sides equally.

I believe there is never any excuse for this kind of behavior.  We treat people with respect.  Period.
