'Crazy claims'?

So I'm in the UK, and your in Australia. That means one of us is 'upside-down'. One person on the equator is sticking out at 90 degrees.

The river Nile runs uphill

Our atmosphere sits adjacent to a vacuum, yet never gets sucked away.

ALL the 'planets' in our 'solar system' are named after ancient gods - except ONE!

That (one)'planet' is called 'Uranus', (your anus), and is a 'gas giant' !

Taking the piss in plain sight !

Do us a favour - go find the most sophisticated laboratory in the world. Then stick curved water to a spinning ball.........I'll wait....................

Without the THEORY of 'gravity', and without the 'big-bang THEORY', and without the THEORY of 'evolution', what's left?.................CREATION.................!!!!!!!!

That's what 'they' are trying to hide. It's got f*ck all to do with BS 'religion' either!

Wake-up, FFS!

What's next, in generations to come.... the THEORY of 9 11, or the THEORY of the Moon landing, or the THEORY of Monsanto?

John Coleman, the founder of the 'Weather Channel', along with thousands of climatologists, (all with PHd's), have stated that 'Climate Change' is a hoax. Just another BS story to take more tax $$.

None of you have a f*ckin' clue!

We've been LIED to since birth.  Your 'reality' is not 'real' at all.

We were all born into a 'prison'. We were all born into a 'matrix'.

The asshole known as 'Bill Nye, the Science Guy', even states that the Earth is a 'closed-system' and that we cannot 'leave'.....

So, bring it on, guys. Convince me that I'm a 'flattard'.

Convince me that what we're told is not hidden in plain sight. We're told that CO2 is a 'greenhouse gas'. What's a greenhouse made of?

There's a 'glass ceiling' above us, (see Hilary Clinton, and the Simpsons for confirmation), and you know what....? If you want to label me as a f*ckin' nutter, please go ahead.......it's your 'funeral' after all.

The 'war' is on for your soul, and I can PROVE it!

One step at a time............

Ask me if I'm a tin-foil-hat-wearing-conspiracy-theorist, and I'll say a resounding NO!

But, unlike you, I know that our 'reality' is not real at all.....

Shakespeare famously said - 'All the world's a stage'......He was so right!

You are right, I'm condescending and rude. But guess what. The thoughts and words that are expressed in this blog and comments don't nearly mirror the actual thoughts and words that are in my head. I'm the sort of man who, if you pull a knife at, pulls out a sword. If you point a gun at me, I will line up the artillery. Seriously, my biggest fault of mine is if I don't respect someone, I will show it.

A person, claiming something without any proof, can fit that category. If a person wants to prove no gravity exists with a helium balloon, he can also match that category. And if the person claims these from a high horse, that's just killing me. All of you who commented on this blog have higher education than I do. To satisfy my thirst for knowledge isn't tricky. There is a person here who can't answer any of my questions with the intelligence that I know he has other than directing me to YouTube links I don't watch. Seeing him losing his mind on this particular issue isn't easy to witness even though he and I've had many personal battles in the past.

Anyway, you have a question for me. My answer is if I had lived back then, I would probably be in the torture chamber trying to make Mr. Galileo confess that the earth was the center of the universe. I searched this and can tell with the most certainty, Galileo was Paul's grand, grand, grand, grandfather. It is unfortunate that he doesn't follow his grand, grand, grand, grandfather's teachings. But I know Paul will come around when the Chinese land on the moon. He loves China.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with everything you said in it.

John, two days ago I saw an experiment where laser bent in water. Here's the link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sibPEma8nEM

Lasers can also be bend by a magnet. The earth is a big magnet. That's my explanation for how lasers bend. I know @kalzorch can explain this to you much better.

This link, John, is to an article that tells that scientists finally have discovered gravity waves. https://www.sciencenewsforstudents.org/article/gravity-waves-detected-last

"I'd like to ask a favor of you. Could you, please, explain what Paul's answers mean? They don't make any sense to me"

As a general rule, I find your comments very interesting, Imi. They're valuable also, to act as a sensible counterbalance to many other remarks made in these blogs.

As for your question above concerning Paul's thoughts and responses to you, I have no idea, sorry Imi.  Paul is dancing with the fairies at the bottom of the rose garden much of the time, no normal person can quite grasp the entirety of his words unfortunately.

But please don't judge him too harshly. Overall he's a very sincere bloke, quite smart and is an excellent teacher.  His students love him. This says a lot. In one way, as we're also students of his teachings, insofar as we're doing our darndest to interpret his arcane and vaguely troubling messages, maybe we should love him also?  :^)

"I think that Imi has also been very rude and condescending when speaking about people who happen to disagree with his view of the world."

These forums are important in their own small way. The subjects touched upon are highly controversial and serious. So in defence of Imi, let me say that all of us here have been guilty at some stage of seeming to be somewhat brusque or even rude. But the blame for this in my view lies not with the character of the person, but with the difficult subject matter being discussed. It gives me a headache sometimes, just reflecting upon it all.

I regard all the regulars here as being part of a family. Thus from time to time, we squabble and carry on, like a kid who just dropped his icecream on the floor. No big deal. Storms in a teacup.

The reason for this mostly is because we CARE. So I say live and let live. Walk a mile in the other person's shoes, before becoming too critical. I know for starters, that Imi has immense personal / bureaucratic problems. This would stress out anyone, the Dalai Lama included.

Of all the people here, we thus need to give Imi plenty of understanding and tolerance. Apart from that, I thought your comments were thought provoking and excellent, @kalzorch  (think)(y)

@kalzorch

After 29years of commercial flying, I’ve yet to flight plan extra fuel for the extra distance due to a globes added radius at altitude, never adjusted for Coriolis, or adjust attitude for the dipping horizon following the curve. It’s flat & motionless Folks! From the Pilot’s basic study guide; please read 1.1.2 & let that sink in. Every Pilot was taught this, but some are still asleep.

@kalzorch

2 of your comments jumped-out at me.

Firstly you said, more than once, that the Earth is so 'vast' one cannot see curvature.

According to the official figures, the curvature of the Earth is 7.8 inches per mile (squared), or, if you prefer, 6.66 inches per mile, in all directions. That means, over a distance of 100 miles, the 'drop' from one end to the other, should be 6,666 feet. How can a missile fired from the US military's 'railgun' hit its target?

At such a 'drop', EVERY engineer would have to take curvature into account when building canals, railroads, bridges, etc.

Secondly, you said centrifugal force doesn't exist. Please explain why my 5-year old granddaughter has white knuckles when I spin her round on the roundabout at the local park.

Also, please explain why, when my washing machine spins my wet clothes, all the water comes out.

The U.S military's fastest plane, (interesting word for a flying vehicle....PLANE), can fly at 80,000 feet at a speed of Mach 3. At that height and altitude, the pilot would need to drop his nose 5800 feet every SECOND if the Earth were a ball.

Every pilot I have spoken to, (and there have been many), all say they fly 'level-and-straight', and that no curvature is taken into account.

Though your answers above are lengthy, all you have done is regurgitate the crap we've all been taught at school. Like John, you have not used any critical thinking skills. @Barry1 on the other hand, is beginning to think critically.

You also didn't answer how the river Nile can run uphill, or how the Suez Canal can run for 100 miles without any locks.

Then there's that magical force called 'gravity'. Strong enough to hold trillions of gallons of sea water sticking to a ball; strong enough to stop the Moon from flying off into 'space', yet weak enough to allow a 100kg man to fly off in a balloon, or allow butterflies to fly.

Light travels in a straight line when it passes through a transparent medium of uniform density. Half fill a glass with water. Place a pencil in the water. The pencil appears bent. The part of the pencil below the water has one orientation and the part above the water appears to have a different orientation. The pencil is still straight. What has happened?

Whenever light passes through matter of variable density the light bends. The air around us has different density on days of different temperature. Paul's experiment would be valid in an environment with no atmosphere such as the moon. To be valid on Earth you need some way of making sure all the air over the distance measured has exactly the same density. ANY variation in density will cause bending of light.

@JohnAbbot

Our laser experiments now extend to 53km. Clearly visible despite there allegedly being some 220 metres of 'curvature'.

A You Tube channel called 'Taboo  Conspiracy' has also been carrying out our experiments across the Salton Sea. All have been successful.

I mentioned earlier that the longest point-to-point microwave link is 196km.

Not possible on a globe, since one end would be 3 kilometres below the other.

So, if you're looking for an explanation, there's only one. The Earth is NOT a globe !

Imi, please show me ONE photograph of the Earth from space.

I don't want an 'image', I want a photograph.

You asked, "Are they all lying?' - YES!
