Barry from Australia is a questioning soul who looks at social issues from an alternative point of view and instead of asking, “Why?”, he asks “Why not?” He’s convinced that many of his previous incarnations were spent in China. He feels drawn to the people there; attracted by their rich culture and way of life. If given one wish from God, he’d reply, “I want everyone on Earth to be the same colour, speak the same language, and treat each other as they themselves would like to be treated.”

Ha,focus means decisive. People usually think the grass is greener over the next hilltop. However never was,never will be. As long as you have a good attitude,there will be always a way out.

@Barry1
It's AUTUMN you muppet - not winter !

As John says, we have probably the mildest winters in the WORLD. In Perth it never drops below 1 degree, no snow and ice. Unlike Canada where MINUS 40-odd degrees is common in winter!
Thanks also for the well-wishes mate

Keep climbing and let us know when you get to the top ! (muscle)

"People usually think the grass is greener over the next hilltop"

Yes, this is very true indeed.

So many of us aren't satisfied with what we have. You are exactly correct when you say that our ATTITUDE is the important thing. Hallelujah for that.

Best wishes to you, Yii0425. :)

Hi Paul,

well I reckon anything below 10 degrees Centigrade is too cold.

I'm amazed people can survive in cold climes such as Canada or even England for that matter. I lived in Denver Colorado for two years set high up in the Rockies and winters there were hell. Snow drifts sometimes over a metre deep.

I'll keep you informed of events as they occur here, thanks Paul.

Hello Barry,

I am with you on this one. I have been speaking to a woman on CLM. We met last year on CLM and went on QQ after. This is the Chinese version of Skype. Initially I have 57 QQ friends but after a while I only talked to this one woman. We talked every night for 2 to 3 hours. After 4 month we really wanted to meet in person.

I flew to Inner Mongolia in December 2013. The coldest temperature was minus 20 degrees in the morning. Stop moaning. I was there for 28 days.

As we had talked for 4 month every day I knew her character. When I saw her in person
I knew I hit the jackpot. I make a long story short now, we married in China last year.
Currently we are applying for the spouse visa. I am the luckiest man alive. You or somebody might disagree with this. I hope you do and find your lady to be the best woman for you.
I have to emphasize here, that we talked for 4 month literally every night for 2-3 hours.
This was not just chit chat, but often serious talk. To meet her in person was just the final conformation for me. Hence the marriage.
Barry as I said, I could not imagine going and do a shop around for the most suitable woman. I guess I did that on QQ.

When she is in Australia we will write the story and post to CLM as a testimonial.

Barry, I wish you all the best. Keep us all posted as to what is happening.

I am telling you this so you know it can be done. Do not worry about any competition.
You are the master of your own destiny. Just use the law of attraction. Works every time without fail.

Cheers,
nekko (Japanese word for cat)

Pragmatic thinking, confident, and romantic, worthy of admiration. I used to be worthy also but not so much now.

I did something like that on my first trip to meet a lady. I could have met two ladies (H and W) but didn't. H had a pleasant nature about her, and was definitely very sexy. I had real feelings for both of them but I chose to meet only W.

I regret that decision yet I don't regret that decision ...

The lady that I didn't meet, H was equally fantastic to the one that I did, Later, after my long relationship with W ended, I did try to contact H only to be ignored but there was also a strong possibility that she never received my messages.

Anyhow even though the romance that I had with W was amazing and like none other I had before, it ended. She was a fantastic woman and a good fit for me but perhaps a tough match for someone else. She had that "Once you get to know me, you will see how great I am." attitude about herself that many probably would just not get past long enough to see if she was telling the truth. As an aside, I have heard more than one Chinese lady say this but I have never heard a Western woman say that. Anyhow, she was right, once you get to know her, she actually was pretty great.

I suggest if the romantic part does not work out, enjoy yourself anyhow. Sounds like you will.

@Nekko

Thank you so much for your kind hearted words and interesting story, Nekko.

You sound to have gone down a very similar path to my own.

I hope and trust your spouse visa comes through with no undue delays or complications.

I hope to hear more of your story when you're ready.

Bye for now and best wishes, mate. (y)

@Barry1

Thank you Barry. I have just sent the love story to John in the office. He will publish it
if suitable for general consumption. Photos included.

Maybe wait a few days and check the testimonial section.

Will send an update when she arrives in Australia. The Immigration Department website
indicates that this may take six month to grant the visa. Patience is a virtue of which I have very little sometimes. Especially waiting for the beauty.

Cheers,
Nekko
