@QinQL Please be very sceptical of cancer cure claims that are not supported by the scientific medical literature. They may cause serious harm to both your health and your wallet.

Nikola Tesla and Royal Rife experienced both ridicule and acclaim in the course of their scientific work. If they had the opportunity to look back on their legacies today, their greatest pain would come from achieving hero status with flat-earthers.

Personally, I have to be very vigilant about skin cancer. I said earlier that I try to minimise my cancer risk by eating well, sleeping well, exercising well, meditating well, avoiding the sun and by using the best available scientific knowledge on cancer.

I have an advantage that I have a strong background in both science and science education. However, working through the relevant literature is often a daunting process. I choose my medical support team with great care and I accept the final responsibility for all medical decisions. I treat my skin specialist as my medical advisor rather than my medical decision maker.

Cancer is deliberately man-made. It has NOTHING to do with 'evolution'

America may be the most 'developed country', but the government in the USA is not what you think it is.................

Despite the way, some people act, scientific illiteracy is not a badge of honour.

@melcyan - “ Eating well, sleeping well, exercising well, meditating well, avoiding the sun and by using the best available scientific knowledge on cancer ” to minimize cancer risk.I agree absolutely with you. The best way to against cancer is keeping a healthy life style with us like you have done to avoid cancer producing in our body. I have been kept doing exercise every day. And I am standing up before computer while I am typing these letters instead of sitting down.
“I have an advantage that I have a strong background in both science and science education” I believe people like you who enjoy learning and working, would feel more happy.

I think that you all are using the wrong term. Charles Schultz wrote in his book that," Happiness is a Warm Puppy." Will Smith in the movie, "The Pursuit of Happiyness" tried to find this in overcoming his circumstances and  his job with Morgan Stanley as a broker. Happiness is based upon subjective emotions and circumstances. Dr.James Dobson's in his book "Emotions, Can You Trust Them?" He responds with the  answer is NO! What happens when we're not happy as our feelings change towards a girlfriend/boyfriend or spouse? Many times one separates or divorces. People cannot ultimately make you "happy." I find that with my new bride, whom I met here on CLM/ALM cannot make me ultimately happy and I cannot do the same for her.  What we really seek is  Joy. Joy can exist in the midst of extreme diffculties, challenges, trials and tribulatoins. It can only happen when we depend and follow the One who created us. I've experienced it. Xin Nin Hao! (Happy New Year!)

Happiness and Joy are perfectly synonymous.  Each word literally means the same thing.  The dictionary I use is Webster's Ninth College Dictionary, which is, admittedly, rather old.  I really should get a new one.  The second definition of happiness is "a state of well-being and contentment:  Joy."  The second definition of joy is "a state of happiness or felicity:  Bliss."  The first definition for both words involves prosperity which fits in more with J.D. Rockefeller's defiinition of happiness.  He said that "happiness is positive cash flow."

There's not many times I have agreed with you over the years, but this time you are 100% spot on !

Well, with just a tiny, weeny, itsy-bitsy correction.

You said 'the One who created us' - check again, lol

nimen ye shi. xin nian hao !

That's interesting.  When I wrote my comment to Map1, I actually typed a semi-colon followed by a space and the computer inserted a puking emoji instead.  I think I'm going to have to refrain from using semi-colons in the future.
