Barry from Australia is a questioning soul who looks at social issues from an alternative point of view and instead of asking, “Why?”, he asks “Why not?” He’s convinced that many of his previous incarnations were spent in China. He feels drawn to the people there; attracted by their rich culture and way of life. If given one wish from God, he’d reply, “I want everyone on Earth to be the same colour, speak the same language, and treat each other as they themselves would like to be treated.”

"This was a gentle, humorous and retaliatory dig at Paul Fox. We receive an endless regurgitation of “sheeple” and worse insults from him. There was no intention to catch innocent sensitive souls like you in the cross-fire."

Cheers mate, I understand now. No harm done.

Though in Paul's defence, up until just a few weeks ago, I also was one of his "sheeple". It's only recently that I went to the trouble of digging deeper into some of the truther sites out there.

To my horror, I discovered that all the evidence pointed that the moon landings have been a complete fake. I won't bore you with details but if you go on to YouTube and type in moon landing fake, a whole mountain of evidence will become available. Some of it can be dismissed pretty easily, but a hard core of it makes absolute, irrefutable sense.

To exacerbate matters, when I dug deeper into the events surrounding 9/11, the same thing happened. A plethora of compelling evidence exists that this event was far better planned and much more complex than Bin Laden and his generals could have accomplished. For example, for weeks before the event, why was an Israeli demolition team allowed free access to the buildings? Photos of them with dozen of boxes of explosive detonators within the buildings exist, supposedly working on the elevators or some such thing.

Anyway, enough for now. Hopefully this website has alerted some thinking people to the fact that some very deep, devious and dark forces exist in the world around us. Some of them masquerading as our friends and/or allies and/or government...    :^)

the off topic claptrap on 'cognitive dissonance' of the West terminated my desire to continue reading. When in real life I encounter such 'conspiracy' rants I turn on my heel and walk away - there is no possibility of rational intercourse, so save yourself the bother! That is what I do here today.  Your other thoughts whatever they might be are fatally tainted.

The blog following this one dealt with weight issues. I requested that NO conspiracy talk at all be allowed there. I hear what you're saying. Though to be truthful, the comments on the weight blog then became hijacked by irrelevant political claptrap.

For your info.   (think)

The “highjacking” of your Weight blog was a self-inflicted wound. You put a lot of work into creating a blog that was much more relevant to CLM than this blog is but you created an unnecessary distraction by using two politicians, John Howard and Justin Trudeau, as your introductory examples. Movie star or pop singer examples would have worked much better.

Take a step back and look at the scene your Weight blog was entering. A conspiracy theory-dominated CLM. You and John are conspiracy theorists and part of the problem. The two of you then come up with a solution to put CLM back on track. It is a bit like using two foxes to guard the hen house.

Someone who was fully committed to steering discussions away from conspiracy theories and politics would never have used two polarising politicians to help set the scene for the Weight blog.

@roughdiamond was the first to spot the problem of using politicians as examples in a blog that was meant to be free of politics and conspiracy theories. I praised him for pointing out that anomaly and our conversation went downhill from there.

John is going to post a comment soon on possible solutions to the present problem facing CLM blogs. I sincerely hope that he chooses to start a separate website for political and conspiracy discussions. CLM’s best chance of functioning effectively is if it is set free from politics and conspiracy theories. If the present trend on CLM continues, I fear that CLM will collapse.

My question to Paul is: do you tell your students the complete truth as you know it? Do you correct all the lies that they have been taught? If not then why do you teach?

"do you tell your students the complete truth as you know it? Do you correct all the lies that they have been taught? If not then why do you teach?"

Good questions. I've wondered the same myself.

I suspect though that like the rest of us, @paulfox1 needs to earn a living.  So he's got to do what he must, like it or not.

He reminds me of John the Baptist, crying out in the wilderness. I used to think he was nuts, but regrettably I can see now that substantial parts of his information are alarmingly spot on the money.

The world is not all that we make of it. Deception in high places has occurred and no doubt will occur again. Trouble is ahead. Much worse than most of us could reasonably anticipate.

I've now become a sceptic of much information fed to us by mainstream media to what they believe is a gullible, unquestioning public.  More to follow in my forthcoming blog. :^)

@Barry1

Let's just say that I do what I have to do. That said, there are certain 'ways' that things can be discreetly mentioned without anyone becoming suspicious.
