@JohnAbbot - To me, the most interesting part of this blog is that you managed to indirectly point out one of the most outstanding attributes of Asian ladies. That is your former girlfriend and wife both took on your health issues as their own. Is there anything more beautiful?

@bmccull - You're right, that is something that has really set Chinese women apart from other women for me, and in an incredibly positive way.

What an interesting article, John - thank you for sharing.

The last time I was in China, I remember eating a dish in Nanjing that was so spicey and rich that after almost every mouthful, I had to have a sip of water. I can barely imagine what this type of food must do to one's internals if eaten day after day.

For what it's worth, my daily diet consists mainly of a little fruit, a couple of eggs, a bit of bread, plenty of nuts such as cashews, almonds & walnuts - plus half a glass each of sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. No meat, but plenty of fish oil and krill.

In short, I never need use a stove to cook, only using a microwave to heat the eggs. At age 58, my blood pressure is 110 over 75.

More on this another time.
