In the world of online Chinese and Asian dating there really is nothing quite like them. That's because the blogs are written by real Chinese or Asian women and real Western men, all members of CLM or ALM. The forum is for members to discuss serious cross- cultural issues, and problems relating to long distance international internet dating. But the blogs and forum are about more than that, much more, because we believe that the members' understanding of each other's diverse history, traditions, food, parenting beliefs, and cultural background are incredibly relevant in developing a strong and lasting mutual love. Likewise the sharing of mutual interests, such as travel, cooking, gardening, humour, modes of entertainment, hobbies, crafts, spiritual beliefs, and many other factors are crucial to maintaining a healthy bond. Unlike other dating sites who publish endless fluff that has no value beyond enticing people to join, at and we understand your desire is not simply to meet someone special today, but to join someone special for life. We keep it real, to ensure your newfound Chinese or Asian love lasts forever.

Thanks for the great offer from Mr. John Abbot of CLM that I got this wonderful opportunity to write the blog for CLM from a Chinese woman’s point of view. I am sure many members here on CLM are same like me, trying to find a true and serious relationship that will finally lead to marriage. And we all know that internet provides the convenience and short-cut for online dating, which save us from the embarrassment of the blind date or matchmaking when 2 people have to sit face to face (especially for a Chinese-Chinese matchmaking, when you are surrounded by a group of family members or friends, which we will have another topic to introduce the matchmaking in China) and try to rack their brains to find the suitable topics.

This is a summary of a full length article that I've posted in CLM eMagazine under the topic of "Online Dating". We can't yet add links in these blogs but will be able to shortly. Meanwhile I'd suggest that you go to the eMagazine and read the letter that the Scammer, a Nigerian pretending to be American, sent to at least one Chinese woman member. I say one member because only one forwarded the letter but more than one complained about the Scammer, whose username is "john123" and who now resides in Scammer Prison.

My “Obsession” with the concept of Internet dating first began many years ago in the 1990’s with the A Foreign Affair website featuring photos of sexy and voluptuous Russian women eager to meet foreign men for love and marriage. This was the early days of online dating and matchmaking. Communication, translation and numbers of such websites were limited. I spent countless hours perusing the photos and profiles on AFA dreaming of finding the perfect girl who only wanted a good husband to love and a decent place to live. I even considered taking one of their “Romance Tours” to Russia. I never acted on these dreams and desires because more and more stories were being published about the Scams perpetrated by many of these women and/or their boyfriends or husbands. Warnings were published many of these girls had husbands or boyfriends in the USA and were simply using the man as a vehicle to get reunited with their true love. Other stories and official government reports abounded about the problems then with these Russian/American cross-cultural relationships. My bubble had burst.
My name is Peter. Let me introduce myself and my blog by riffing off of an old "Hair Club" commercial: not only am I a blogger for CLM, I'm a client as well. That is, like you, I am using this website in the hopes of finding a meaningful relationship.
We’ve spent the past week making the switch of our office and residence from Guangzhou in South China’s Guangdong Province to Hangzhou in East China’s Zhejiang Province. I’d like to tell you that we’ll miss Guangzhou but I can’t; other than a few select family members we will not miss Guangzhou at all.
They say a good woman is hard to find and this is doubly true of American women. This article will be about these women and why I think it is prudent you stay away from them, unless of course you don`t value your bank account and everything you`ve worked hard for. Believe me I have firsthand experience with this.
This April 4 marked the 42nd anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr in 1968, one of the most tumultuous years in America’s 20th century. King’s assassination would be followed by massive race riots and barely more than a month later by the slaying of the late President Kennedy’s brother, Robert, – a third shock so great that even at age 15 I felt suddenly more old, cynical and numb than grief stricken.
I’m a proud father, but have only a select few select “funny cute son” stories to bore listeners with once we’ve reached the swapping family tales zone. To save time, here are the punch lines: 1. “Why you CLYING?”, 2. “Father?” “Yes, son.” “I want to kill you.”, 3. “Dad, what’s a clitoris?” and 4. “Skorky changed colors!”
International online dating, like everything else to do with the internet, is riddled with scammers, people whose sole purpose in life is to separate you from your money. However, if you follow some pretty simple rules of safety, find a quality website that focuses on introducing Chinese women to Western men and goes overboard trying to protect you from scammers (Yes I mean, of course.), and simply use some common sense, you can find the Chinese woman of your dreams for your lifelong love, and you won't have to worry about getting scammed.
The year was 1973, August, hot, sticky, and an air conditioned movie theater was an ideal haven for a group of 10 year old boys who had just witnessed the greatest action movie they had ever seen. The movie was Enter The Dragon starring the tragic martial arts star Bruce Lee, and America was under the spell of any thing to do with martial arts. It seemed like a dojo opened up on every street corner. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating but it was overnight and all of a sudden there it is, a martial arts studio.
