These are the Blogs and Forum of ChinaLoveMatch.net and AsiaLoveMatch.net
In the world of online Chinese and Asian dating there really is nothing quite like them. That's because the blogs are written by real Chinese or Asian women and real Western men, all members of CLM or ALM. The forum is for members to discuss serious cross- cultural issues, and problems relating to long distance international internet dating. But the blogs and forum are about more than that, much more, because we believe that the members' understanding of each other's diverse history, traditions, food, parenting beliefs, and cultural background are incredibly relevant in developing a strong and lasting mutual love. Likewise the sharing of mutual interests, such as travel, cooking, gardening, humour, modes of entertainment, hobbies, crafts, spiritual beliefs, and many other factors are crucial to maintaining a healthy bond. Unlike other dating sites who publish endless fluff that has no value beyond enticing people to join, at ChinaLoveMatch.net and AsiaLoveMatch.net we understand your desire is not simply to meet someone special today, but to join someone special for life. We keep it real, to ensure your newfound Chinese or Asian love lasts forever.

I suppose I am the endless optimist in the mist of the realists. I don’t know why, but I have always looked on the bright side of dark situations and can always see the positive nature of even the worst events. Maybe, this is a very bad flaw to have and I should let go of this shiny happy attitude. I feel however, that this attitude is what has allowed me to succeed in life and to achieve all that is opening up before me now. It has been my ability to adapt to the negative changes around me. My father once told me an ancient Chinese proverb, “He who bends with the wind shall weather the storm, but he who stands like a wall will surely crumble.” I never did find out if this is a true Chinese proverb but it seemed like good advice and I still follow it to this day.
For those of you reading this from the Americas, you may not understand the culture here in China, but you may have experienced similar things. On my day off during the week, Gwynne picked me up at my apartment and told me that she wanted me to meet her best girlfriend. You all know what this means. She is getting her girlfriend to check you out, to see if her best friend thinks you are suitable for her. This is her crucial second opinion.
As I have mentioned before, I am a client of CLM. I have chosen to make my profile invisible because I am in a serious relationship with a beautiful Chinese woman I will call, Gwynne, whom I met here at CLM. When I came to China more than a year ago, I came with the express purpose of building a relationship with a woman I met through another agency. After being together for a year, we decided that we were not a very good match. It was a gradual realization. Language was not the barrier and I sincerely believe that the mismatch was because she was unable to accept what I wanted to share with her; my interests are diverse.
I used to receive some invitations in my yahoo IM. But I am few to chat online in my yahoo.

In China, the word “Foreigner (Lao wai in pinyin)” perhaps makes more sense than in North America. In Canada or United States, the dweller of your neighbourhood are possibly from Asia and Africa and Europe. Even some of them are not American nationality, but you seldom use the word “Foreigner” when you mention them to others, just state “He is Sweden” or “She is Singaporean”.
Turning on my computer this morning I see on Yahoo that a college professor in Nanjing, Ma Yaohai, has been sentenced to 3 ½ years in prison for “group licentiousness” for participating in group sex parties. It’s the first I've heard of the story (one of the drawbacks of being away from China is that you tend to miss all the good stuff), although supposedly the case has attracted huge public interest in China.
Before you, the waves slide in and out of the world forever… By plane, by train, by bus, by boat, by car, by hitchhike, by any means possible, ladies and gentlemen, we have made it to the beach! Jasmine appears to be intent on proposing that CLM introduce a Game Player Prison to accompany Scammer Prison. Now before we just casually write off this suggestion, let me say that we don’t take anything Jasmine suggests lightly. Jasmine is a smart lady, a very smart lady, and we highly respect her opinions. Having said that, let me say that we long ago, at the time we introduced Scammer Prison, considered also having a Game Player Prison, and we concluded then that a Game Player Prison is not only practically impossible, but even more importantly is philosophically wrong!

60 Yr Old Teachers Banned in China
Barry1 has reported, based on reliable sources and backed by a recent Google search, that China is no longer allowing foreign English teachers to teach English in China if they are 60 years or older. This is bad news for many members of CLM who are already teaching English in China now, or are planning to in the near future, but who are 60 years old or nearing that mark. Get more details on Barry's forum thread linked below.
