In the world of online Chinese and Asian dating there really is nothing quite like them. That's because the blogs are written by real Chinese or Asian women and real Western men, all members of CLM or ALM. The forum is for members to discuss serious cross- cultural issues, and problems relating to long distance international internet dating. But the blogs and forum are about more than that, much more, because we believe that the members' understanding of each other's diverse history, traditions, food, parenting beliefs, and cultural background are incredibly relevant in developing a strong and lasting mutual love. Likewise the sharing of mutual interests, such as travel, cooking, gardening, humour, modes of entertainment, hobbies, crafts, spiritual beliefs, and many other factors are crucial to maintaining a healthy bond. Unlike other dating sites who publish endless fluff that has no value beyond enticing people to join, at and we understand your desire is not simply to meet someone special today, but to join someone special for life. We keep it real, to ensure your newfound Chinese or Asian love lasts forever.

My fiancée has a new love. That is correct, I am saying she has a new man other than me. There is no question. It's in plain view and I realized it last night. I think I have just been replaced. Kicked to the curb. Pushed to the side! Ok everyone, do not freak out. It's not too bad. At least my woman and I had a good 4 weeks together. So now I have to step aside and make room. I do it for her happiness, but this man will have to face me sooner or later...
The pressure was mounting as I stepped out into the hot morning heat. I climbed into my car and rolled down the window. I was rewarded by getting a warm breeze blowing in my face as the sweat started to form on my brow. Dread filled my heart as I prepared for the ride that would determine the fate of my journey. Surely with all of the obstacles I have had to overcome the path would stay open a little longer so I could make my escape.
In the last column I wrote about a fictional online dialogue. In that interchange, a woman calls a guy “shy” after interacting with him for about fifteen seconds. I went on to mention that I had recently had the same thing happen to me. In my case, the CLM contact I was talking to went on to add that my “shyness” set me wildly apart from other American males, who for the most part were extroverted, very humorous and able to effortlessly engage females in conversation.
It’s hard enough to serve in any countries military often involving stringent training, long separations from home and family in some remote hell-hole or even on some dangerous mission. Now recent reports have been published that even China’s military is not immune to being engulfed by the Chinese matchmaking box. Now serving in the Chinese military has become more difficult than ever, especially if you’re looking for a beautiful Chinese girl.
For my money, the best Chinese language learning site on the web is Chinese Pod. Not only are their podcasts first rate, they are also often chock full of Chinese culture. You will learn a lot more than Chinese language when you listen to them. I was reminded of this the other day when one of their dialogues struck a little close to home. The premise of the dialogue involved a blind date. As the dialogue opens, the couple is seated at dinner.
This has been a previous topic of several blogs by several bloggers, including myself, but I believe I may have discovered an answer to the above question, and not the answer I was expecting.
Here’s some brief background and facts on Internet usage in China to give you some insight before continuing with how the great Chinese Matchmaking Box can affect your online dating. China is home to the world’s largest Internet community and usage has quickly grown. Private citizens were only granted access to the Internet as recently as 1995. Then there were only about 2,000 Chinese connected.
"You should give up searching online and just continue your search for love in the REAL world with REAL people. It is a waste of time! Why bother? I have tried it and it's a joke!" I hear so many comments from others who tell me about their friends or family who give such negative advice, but what they do not know is that this is how meeting a new love is done today. This is the future of dating - here and now! We are cutting edge people taking the options beyond the old rituals. They are old-fashioned and closed-minded. But is ONLINE LOVE REAL? Does it exist? I have brought up this topic before and felt it would be good to bring up again and hear your feedback. I'm talking about "Online Love".
I was pleasantly surprised to read the comments to Marriage and Divorce. If it is going to generate response then I think it is valuable to continue this theme. Since we are all at CLM to find a life-mate maybe it is about time someone began writing about culture and differences, if there really are any. One thing I think I can say with some assurance is that most western people believe that what you sow you also reap. That simply means that we believe that there are consequences to our actions and we will be rewarded or damned depending on what we do or do not do.
How good is your English? Got it mastered? Got it very well? Got it just OK? Got your English down just a little bit? If it's a little bit, then you should learn more now, rather than later. I never realized how important this would be. Love is all that matters, right? Well maybe we should not think too hastily. It's been 3 weeks since my Chinese fiancée, Aishan, has come to live with me here in Boston and she was caught off guard how unprepared she felt. She was surprised how little English she could comprehend when someone is talking. There are many accents in America that vary slightly to us Americans, but can strangely sound incomprehensible to a native Chinese. She obviously isn't feeling fluent enough to feel comfortable. I can not stress enough for any man or woman who is willing to begin a life here in America that it is in your best interest to make a huge effort to learn as much English as you possibly can. It will help you adjust easier for such a overwhelming transition.
