In the world of online Chinese and Asian dating there really is nothing quite like them. That's because the blogs are written by real Chinese or Asian women and real Western men, all members of CLM or ALM. The forum is for members to discuss serious cross- cultural issues, and problems relating to long distance international internet dating. But the blogs and forum are about more than that, much more, because we believe that the members' understanding of each other's diverse history, traditions, food, parenting beliefs, and cultural background are incredibly relevant in developing a strong and lasting mutual love. Likewise the sharing of mutual interests, such as travel, cooking, gardening, humour, modes of entertainment, hobbies, crafts, spiritual beliefs, and many other factors are crucial to maintaining a healthy bond. Unlike other dating sites who publish endless fluff that has no value beyond enticing people to join, at and we understand your desire is not simply to meet someone special today, but to join someone special for life. We keep it real, to ensure your newfound Chinese or Asian love lasts forever.

The words below describe a bonfire that simmered for some time and finally erupted in the comments section of my last blog, “My First Date After Lily (Part 6)”

This is half a chapter from a story that a brilliant Chinese woman and I wrote. It's a love story between a white man and a Chinese woman. However, it's just too long to post it on CLM. Something 80,000 words. The Chinese version is going to be available to read on a Chinese website when the translation is done.

Most fairy tales from Disney world usually ended up with “and they lived happily ever after.” Everything is wonderful. Of course, happy ending is guarantee. But back to reality, how many of you live happily ever after once you get married?

My name is Roger and I am rather new to CLM, having joined on September 24th.  I am a 52-year-old divorced man currently living in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.  My ex-wife is a Chinese lady whom I met through online dating.  Unfortunately, our marriage lasted only for three years.  I'll go into more detail about the reasons for the failure of my marriage in a future installment.

Recently, I have sent some messages to the CLM members and received some messages from others. What interesting is: once I sent out messages, I usually asked myself a question: he looks so familiar. Where did I see him? I am pretty sure that I never meet them before as I glanced their profile. But why they look so familiar? Finally I got the answer when I looked at the member’s picture. He just looks like one of my very dear friend, a great gentleman whom I met in Maryland. That’s why I felt very fond of him the first time when I saw his profile picture even I never meet him. That is unfair!!! He did nothing but already gained all points from me, right? But this is the reality and how this game works!

Those infamous words from The Eagles' song 'Hotel California' -

My best mate, of more than 20 years, moved to Australia about 9 years ago. He and his wife have just returned from their first trip abroad. Their desination - Bali.

It started to rain as I set off from the house in Kanchanaburi. The D Max fully loaded with our belongings. The rain was steady enough to make me switch on the windshield wipers. The first time I had done so. You have all experienced what happened next. The view through the windshield became completely obscured. The wiper blade needed replacing. It had moved the dust and crap alright, but had just smeared the whole screen. As luck would have it, an Isuzu dealership lay within easy reach.

I guess that some cross cultural issues are the same no matter where you are in the world. How many weddings take place every week throughout the globe? I have no idea but it’s safe to say there are many. The scene I was now part of was not unique. Many a bride or groom (or both) have been ready to retire to the privacy of their nuptial bed following the day’s ceremony and festivities. Yet, on this occasion it was me that was ready to call it a day. I had drunk a fair amount of beer and Thai whisky during the day but wasn’t drunk. I didn’t intend to get drunk now that we had returned to the resort hotel.

Who was the lucky guy who was going to marry this stunning looking woman? It was me, Ryan Hendry! Boy, I was so in love. I had never seen Noi looking as beautiful. The waiting around had been worthwhile just to see her walk out, hold my hand and take our seats at the ‘VIP’ table. There must have been a hundred people or so crammed into Noi’s father’s yard at the family home. Now all I could do was wait some more to see how the Asian wedding traditions would unfold.
