“Girls are like the fish in the river,” my grandma often talked to my parents. At that time I was in school, she asked my parents not to send my sisters and me to school. “ Girls are just like the fish in the river, you feed them nice grass, but they will leave home when they grow up,and parents won’t get anything,” she said. My father also had the same thought. Luckily, my mother didn’t listen to them, she insisted on sending me and my sisters to school, even though she often had to borrow money from other people.

The picture was taken in 1993. That's my grandma, my father's mother. She was 85years old at that time. She was a very clever and happy woman. I learned much farm work from her. For example, I learned how to heap the straw, made it become rectangle, and kept for one year watertight. Because We kept it for cattles' forage,and for fuel. I did quite well from her.
