I was back in the United States recently, to attend my friend Steve Jobs funeral. “Steve”, I whispered over the headstone (which had iPhone4s and a camera function); “Now (in this twilight moment with the iWind whispering through the iPine trees and the last light of iDay fading, etc., etc. ) “It seems trivial that you stole all my ideas, and because of that the world doesn’t recognize I, Ken Silver, as the most creative genius of all time!”

Well, maybe the sex isn’t a new development. I saw a dog mounting another dog once on the streets of Chiang Mai, so I guess there has always been sex in Thailand. But the possibility of encountering a hungry crocodile as you peacefully snorkel off of Phi Phi Island… well that is what Tourist Boards might call a “delightful new development (for the crocodile)" in Thai Tourism.

Somewhere… maybe India, maybe Cambodia, maybe Africa, there is a huge, ancient tree known to those in the know – such as myself - as Monkey Central. From the top branches of this tree an immortal organization of monkeys - Monkey See Monkey Do - has kept bemused watch on humanity since the first ape man stood on his feet.
