Love is a legend. It’s not common. It should be locked in a crystal box and kept away from noises and dusts. Nowadays it gets used and abused quite often. Most people don’t even know what it is. They talk about it; they say it and they think they have it. No, they don’t have it; they are using its name to get what they want.
A crafty man tells a young innocent girl that he loves her but he has no clue what love is. He knows the more he says it the easier he can get what he wants. He wants visual and tactual sensation enjoyment. Nothing else matters. Some people go after money, some people go after power, some people go after fame, and some just go after sex. It’s pure and original.
A young beautiful girl hears it a lot from a variety of men. If she doesn’t know man at all, she falls for it. If she knows man a little she will try to fight first and then she got lost and then when she found her way out she realized she already got hurt. She swears she will be smarter and protect herself better next time. If she knows man a lot, she laughs once she heard it come from somebody she barely knows.
A wise old man watched his love walked away. He is sad and heart aching but he knows it’s his fate. He accepts it and picks up his crutch and continues the rest of his journey.
Sometimes lies make the truth look so bad. Lies can be very real after a lot of layers of coating and it’s always very seductive. People want to believe it and find excuses to believe it.
Yes, love is a legend. But don’t take it too seriously until you know it is true.
Below is quoted from a man’s response after he reads the above words I wrote.
“I believe love can be immediate between two people spirits and the practicalities of the real world often get in the way.
Love to me can be felt between two people’s spirit and it can be proven over time if there is doubt. It might take one person some time to give in to the spirit as they are so programmed to function in the modern world of chaos.
I see sometimes that if one loves another, the one saying “ I love you” truly means it but their needs to love makes them ignore the spiritual response from the other and choose to not to seek confirmation, as their desire is to love and not be loved…
True love is when both feel same and that should be protected.”
So now you can see the difference between a man and a woman when they think of love. Of course this is an isolated case and cannot speak for any other but you can have a glimpse of two sets of minds that claims they are looking for the same thing while they are so different.
The wages of love are small so small one scarce could say that they cost at all.Yet lives are lonely and hearts still ache in better lack for the wee coins sake and many a silk clad life of ease would barter its purse of gold for these a glance a smile or clasp of a hand a name soft whispered a lingering kiss the wages of love are paid in this
Tuesday I go I have found my love I hope you also do
I have always felt very much the same about your definition of love, when I tell others that is my feelings and thoughts on the subject, they just tell me that I am only saying this as an excuse for not being loved as a child, or not finding love.
I do not feel the same way as the man that responded to your posting. His views are quite different in his definition of love. I guess to each his own.
I also lie sometimes to some women i said i love her because it's what she wanted to hear and if not she'll refuse to be with me...i could explain her but for women don't have really many experience in love and relationship it'll be weird and not so easy to catch it (especially for chinese because chinese culture let people naive about love).
